WD My Cloud ( 4TB)

Unlike the underwhelming My Book Live it replaces, the WD My Cloud is among the best in its class and the first from WD that includes an excellent personal cloud function. It also has a USB 3.0 port for storage extension or backing up data.

The WD My Cloud is fast, affordable, and easy to use, and has a well-implemented, powerful personal cloud feature.

The My Cloud mobile app's streaming function is very limited and can only display content by folders.

For a low-cost entry-level network storage device, the WD My Cloud is very impressive both in performance and features, making it one of the best deals for home users.

Slow

Even when wired to network (not wireless) I cannot view my pictures. I have thousands of pictures on the my cloud but, the cloud is so bogged down it will not display the pictures. So disappointed because it would be so cool if it worked!

Good for a family's personal cloud (storage device). Easy to set up and works quickly. Just am learning what all it can do. Could be a little cheaper, being that it is not a dual slot and you have to attach an external drive for raid. Otherwise great...
