Previous, award winning swivel lens/body design CoolPix cameras came at time when the digital camera market was (perhaps) not yet as mature as today and now technology has moved on and despite the wavy body design, the S10 now looks a tad wearisome....

Curvy design, comes with plenty of features

Not everyone will like the curvy design, a tad pricey if Photokina price tag sticks

With its unique, stylish design, the Nikon Coolpix S10 certainly stands out from the crowd. More importantly, it's a capable camera, even though its megapixel rating looks a little paltry. You get a vast optical zoom and antishake technology, too.

There’s a lot that's good here, such as the VR and Portrait functions, but the casing is bulky and the price is a tad too high

Small controls

I was very pleased with the Nikon Coolpix S10. Picture quality was impressive and the camera is easy to use compared to other super zoom digital cameras. It is also smaller and more compact than other similar models. Recommended.
