good for the money
I purchased the the DP122 because I had just purchased an LG big screen TV 55ls4500. Although both have great quality, I was disappointed that the two are not compatible. I called customer service who confirmed this. I was hoping for seamless integration.

Nice for the cost
I got this machine for 19.99 US$, so I'm more than satisfied with its capabilities and performance so far. Plays avi files very well (Divx and Xvid), and has front USB for the win.
Very limiting outputs, it only has composite and digital coaxial. Lacks S-Video, Component and Optical.

LG DP122
I was looking for a dvd player that would play avi files through the USB port, and this does the trick. I believe USB's must be formatted as FAT32, not NTFS, not positive as I've only tried FAT32 so far. It takes about 5-8 seconds for a movie to start...
