Marantz UD9004 review

Expensive, for sure, but the Marantz UD9400 is one of the most talented universal players we've tested

Fabulous picture and home cinema sound ; genuinely musical, high-end stereo sound ; strong spec ; superlative build

Nothing, so long as you can afford it

The best Blu-ray all-rounder yet, although the price means it's only for the fortunate few. Still, let's hope this is a pathfinder for cheaper but equally flexible players to follow
