No hdmi only has a scart connection.

It's cheap, it plays DVDs and it's one of the few players these days that has a Scart socket.

Nothing not to like for the price. Time will tell in terms of build quality.

As DVD players are often kept on a shelf system with tv, the manual controls are not very visible - in fact they're almost invisible! So have to use remote all the time.
