This mixer looks great, but I bought one and it failed in a few months, luckily from john lewis who replaced it. Same thing happened again, so went back to JL who allowed me to exchange for another mixer. Do not buy.

Have broken lid. Called official service. They promise to check lid availability and price. After 5 days they still can't tell whether this lid is available or not, how much willit cost, and they have no idea when the main office respond to them.

Why do they call it a food slicer if it can't slice whole slices of raw onion. Onions are food. The onion slices roll off the hump on the back and all fall apart.
