Grater is great to shred cheese or soft fruits...etc, but it's not made for anything hard. It doesn't have enough power and it will struggle with very moist cheese or hard textures. It is great looking but white which means first time you use a carrot...

I love it. I wish the small grating barrel was a little larger. I use alot of brick cheeses, and the grating barrel is a little small and the shredding barrel is a little large for italian cheeses. Other that that, it is the second one I have owned :)
