Versatile Garmin GPS for the outdoor lover
The 650t should appeal to people with active lifestyles, as well as those that aspire to have one. The need for additional mounts might be a sticking point for some, but its all-round versatility and solid build make it a good choice if you are looking...

With few real flaws and a bevy of features, this is a fantastic and versatile GPS device
Battery life, meanwhile, is astounding. A single charge will easily get you a full eight-hour day with the GPS running solidly, and in emergencies it will run from three standard AA alkaline cells.

I have found and used functions not described in the manual, such as personalizing the startup screen, and changing the dashboard status bar (which I am still not sure how I did). I have heard arguments that I can do the same thing with my Iphone and...
The Montana 650t quickly acquires satellites, is easily customized, very versatile, and its ability to function as wilderness GPS in the highest capability, as well as a car GPS, marine GPS, fitness monitor, geocashing recorder, clock, stopwatch,...
The Montana 650t is a little heavy. It could use a little more in-depth manual
