Garmin provides Live Services via your smartphone, but only if it's Android.
Lifetime European maps and RDS-TMC traffic ; Packed with features ; 5in display and premium build
Full range of Live Services are expensive ; Smartphone Link is Android only ; Combined destination search covers local addresses only

This sat-nav gets smarter by nabbing your phone's data connection
Packed with features ; Elegant design
Subscriptions a turn off ; Search could be better
A resourceful approach to smart sat-nav but too fiddly to be a winner

Garmin is the big rival to TomTom in the dedicated PND space, and its nuvi 3590LMT is one of the finest A to B gizmos yet. The big USP is hands free control: you can take Bluetooth calls via it, and even boss it about, so you don't have to type in any...

It's getting tougher to make the case for high-end GPS devices, but the fully loaded Garmin 3590LMT easily succeeds. It's a worthy purchase if you have the cash.
Accurate navigation and traffic reporting. Bright, colorful, smoothly animated map graphics. Responsive touch screen. Well-tuned voice prompts sound full and clear. Flexible voice command system. Robust POI search.
Expensive. Not as svelte as the nüvi 3790T. Different charger connectors for device and mount.
Especially attractive are the new, photo-realistic lane assistance graphics. Instead of switching the entire map view to a full-screen, rendered 3D graphic, now it splits the screen in two, and the right side shows the exit signs and appropriate...

If you already own one of Garmin's higher-end nuvi models purchased within the last 2 years, the 3590 LMT probably isn't compelling enough to warrant upgrading. If you don't already have a GPS, or are looking to upgrade an older/lower-end model, the...
Good, But Not A Whole Lot Different Than Previous Models
Expert review by : Rich Owings (gpstracklog.com)
The Garmin nüvi 3590LMT is the company's new top of the line auto navigation unit. As part of their Prestige series, this model basically offers the same feature set as the nuvi 3490LMT, but with a larger 5″ screen. Which means you get a bevy of...
5″ capacitive multi-touch screen ; Strong customization options ; Powered mount ; Exit services ; Lifetime map updates included ; Lifetime traffic (ad free) ; HD traffic reception seems to have improved since initially released on the 3490LMT ; POIs...
Not as thin as the nuvi 3490LMT ; Bluetooth sound quality not as good as on the nuvi 2×95 series; slow to connect
Recommended. HD traffic reception seems to have been improved since it was initially released on the nuvi 3490LMT. Voice command performance seems better than on the 3490LMT as well. The only downside is that the 3590LMT is a little disappointing in...

Great product shame about the company that surplied it
Consumer review (reevoo.com)
Vpery intuitive,Really slim, very accurarre.locks on to satalites in a flash unlike. the overated and overpriced tomtom. If you are gonna buy a satnav, this is the only choice.
Not much to say on the minus side except the voice commands do not work very well with regional accents.hopefully this will be sorted out with an update. Very slow to update from garmin site.
Consumer review (reevoo.com)
