Tom Tom brings its IQ Routes system to one of its more affordable units, the Tom Tom One XL.
Although the One and XL are still TomTom's budget models, the new IQ Routes Editions slot in above the original versions - the latter remain available as the Classic versions, but only with one region, not full European maps. As such, you will pay...

You may fear that GPS technology is devaluing our map-reading skills, but your argument may be in vain. By combining navigational skills with various road statistics, TomTom's latest affordable smart satnavs could be the final nail in the coffin for...

The TomTom White Pearl is designed exclusively for woman. With its stylish looks and solid features it is more than a novelty device. It is also priced incredibly well.
The best bit about the unit is its price, only R1999.

Boasting IQ Routes - allowing you to measure the fastest route based on the time of day - the TomTom XL sounds impressive.
IQ Routes, revamped user interface
Doesn’t feature Bluetooth, multimedia or a built-in TMC receiver
The XL doesn’t feature Bluetooth, multimedia features or a built-in TMC receiver (a £48 optional extra). The latter is perhaps the greatest shame, since combining real-time data with average road speeds could take IQ Routes to another level.

I wish TomTom would be completely upfront and tell you it's going to cost £40 a year for map updates, that's the only thing that disappointed me about this product.
