The best gaming headset for audiophiles and music snobs
Great audio quality ; The most immersive gaming experience on the market ; Comfortable fit
Mic issues when used wirelessly on Windows
The Audeze Mobius is hands-down the best sound gaming headset we've ever tested. The custom drivers and head tracking tech create one of the most immersive gaming and movie watching experiences we've ever enjoyed. Issues with its wireless connectivity...

These are some of the best gaming headphones money can buy, thanks to some fairly mad tricks.
Superb sound quality ; Great comfort ; Head-tracking can be pretty crazy
Very expensive ; Head-tracking arguably doesn't always feel necessary
While the head-tracking doesn't necessarily change the game, Audeze has packed every bit of quality into the Mobius to make for a stellar package. Yes, the asking price is high, but so is the audio quality - and that's the big take-away here.

The Audeze Mobius delivers an unbeatable listening experience for PC gaming, but you have to be wired in, and it doesn't have full console support.
Immersive 7.1-channel soundstage ; Top-quality audio in and out of games ; Comfy fit ; Solidly built ; Slick design
Surround sound only works via USB ; On-headset controls are a bit much ; 3D audio head tracking feels like a gimmick ; Pricey for a gaming headset

The Audeze Mobius is a gaming headset with remarkable head-tracking 3D sound technology and performance that will satisfy audiophiles.
Excellent audio quality. Impressive head-tracking 3D effect. Comfortable fit. Bluetooth option.
Very expensive. Requires wired USB connection for 5.1 and higher surround sound.
Bottom Line: The Audeze Mobius is a gaming headset with remarkable head-tracking 3D sound technology and performance that will satisfy audiophiles.

Audeze's debut gaming headset, the Mobius, boasts sound quality that justifies its high sticker price—but it's undermined slightly by some first-time-out errors.
Great sound quality, especially for a gaming headset ; Cheap, for a headset with planar magnetic drivers ; Attractive, understated design
3D audio feels like a gimmick you show off but don't use ; Expensive by most headset benchmarks ; Poor microphone and cabling
So what is the reason? The sound quality, plain and simple. The Audeze Mobius does sound damn good, and I’ve enjoyed gaming on it, watching movies and TV with it, and (most of all) listening to music. There are few gaming headsets that measure up, and...

The Audeze Mobius packs a punch with 100mm drivers, but is it worth $400?
Stellar music and gaming performance ; Crisp microphone quality ; Comfortable ear cups
Tight fit ; Bulky design ; Some features require wired connection ; Expensive
The Audeze Mobius offers amazing audio and a detailed microphone, but it’s exhausting to wear for long hours and the best features require you to be plugged in.

The Audeze Mobius are a good gaming headset with a few unique features that set them apart from the competition. They have a lot of connection options and a casual design that will work wirelessly with your phone via Bluetooth. Their boom mic...
Good audio reproduction. ; Lots of connection options. ; Unique 3D surround sound and head tracking feature
A bit too tight on the head. ; Plasticky and cumbersome design. ; Poor noise isolation.
