Audio-Technica throws its hat into the flagship true wireless earbuds ring with its ATH-TWX9. How does it fare? Can it really challenge the likes of Apple, Bose, and Sony?

Sublime sound ; Stylish design ; Supports multipoint connection ; Good touch controls ; App has good customisation options ; USB-C and wireless charging

Mediocre ANC ; Below average battery life ; No LDAC codec support ; Could do with a little more bass

The TL;DR version: One of the finest-sounding earbuds available that have sadly been let down by mediocre ANC and below-average battery life.
