Technically the Dyson OnTrac are an impressive pair of over-ears. From a design perspective they're brilliantly bold and stylish.
Clear, detailed sound ; Effective noise-cancellation ; Bold sense of style ; Long battery life
Bose better for ANC ; More dynamic, and fun-sounding alternatives ; Bit big for smaller heads ; Expensive considering the feature set
Technically the Dyson OnTrac are an impressive pair of over-ears. From a design perspective, they’re brilliantly bold and stylish. Judged on the audio, they’re entertaining but rival pairs are more musical and have more fun.

Dyson continues to run off track in its quest for the perfect set of cans
Excellent battery life ; Clean, detailed sound ; Customizable design
Audio lacks dynamic punch ; Non-breathable ear cushions can run warm ; Can feel heavy after short periods
Dyson really seems to be taking audio seriously and the OnTrac is a more accessible and acceptable pair of headphones compared to the Zone. They sound good rather than great or exceptional, but a 55-hour run time and very good noise cancellation means...

Bold ideas, with room for improvement
Clear, detailed, with even balance ; Mature, neutral tone ; Customisable design is interactive and fun ; Comfortable ; Effective ANC ; Outstanding battery life
Sound lacks dynamic punch and subtlety ; Could do with better timing and more enthusiasm ; Oversized ear cushions get too hot ; Usability isn’t flawless ; Some premium features missing
A strong effort from Dyson with a solid foundation, but there’s room for improvement if it wants to beat the class leaders at this premium price

Dyson's first-ever dedicated headphones, OnTrac, are large, long-lasting, and dollop out lashings of well-controlled bass
Big-deal sound quality with deep, well-controlled bass ; Customisable design is fun – although non-essential ; Comfortable for long-term wear, despite scale ; Battery life that lasts and lasts
Active noise-cancelling rivalled by more complete competitors ; Big-scale design simply won't suit all wearers ; No 360-degree or spatial audio features ; No multi-point Bluetooth connectivity
Dyson's dedicated headphones debut enter a bustling market that's not short of capable competition. Aiming to deliver on a unique selling point, these headphones' customisable earcups and earcaps make for a fun visual experience – although it's...

Dyson's noise-cancelling headphones offer unique personalisation and while the design work is terrific, there are some compromises inside
Superb design and customisation options ; Great sound quality ; One of the best for ANC ; Ace bass response
No spatial audio/Dolby Atmos ; No lossless audio capability ; No multipoint Bluetooth (Bluetooth 5.0 now outdated) ; Costly
With superb design, battery life and sound, the Dyson OnTrac should be up there with the best – but the core hardware is compromised.

The Dyson OnTrac are Bluetooth wireless, over-ear headphones, with noise cancellation. But how effectively does this work and what's the sound quality like? Crucially, are they worthy of their high entry price? We sent them to the test lab to find out....

No more bizarre air purifying mask attachment for this one too. #dyson #ontrac #headphone
Premium metal construction ; Fun customisations ; Insanely long battery life ; Balanced sound with great bass ; Great pouch ; Comfortable even after prolong use
Expensive ; Not foldable ; Does not support USB-C digital input
The TL;DR version: The Dyson OnTrac is a great pair of noise-cancelling headphones with equally great battery life, with a fun personalisation element not seen before in other headphones. Note: The Dyson OnTrac will be available for Singapore customers...

Dyson's noise-canceling headphones look like vacuums but sound better than AirPods Max.
Excellent noise canceling. 55 hours of listening time. Customizable color combinations and replaceable earcups. Clean, balanced sound. Good app integration alerts you to high-volume listening.
Weird case. Touch controls for ANC and transparency mode are too easy to bump. Expensive. Heavier than competitors.

The design is polarizing, but you'll love the Dyson OnTrac headphones just as much for their impressive sound and competitive noise-canceling.
Dyson's OnTrac headphones prove that innovation is still possible despite the saturation in the headphones market.

Dyson is better known for its hardy vacuum cleaners and air purifiers. But now the company is pushing into the personal audio market with Ontrac, headphones that we find in this review to be unique and superb in many ways, albeit quite pricey.
Audio ; Customisable design ; Comfort ; ANC ; Battery
Price ; Finicky touch controls
