Maximo iMetal iM-590 review

Anyone who has owned an iPod or other MP3 player knows the discomfort that can be caused by stock earbuds. In fact, fit is one of the chief reasons to replace those 'buds with something more worthy of your ears. In the realm of comfort, we've come...

The Maximo iMetal iM-590 earphones offer a stylish, chromelike finish; a comfortable fit; and a handy cable extender. The earphones are relatively inexpensive, and the package includes a hard-shell case with a cable manager.

Sound from the Maximo iMetal iM-590 earphones leans heavily toward the low end, which tends to be mushy and can give music a muffled quality.

The Maximo iMetal iM-590 earphones offer a super comfortable fit and plenty of features for the money; although the sound quality is not the best, this set is a good step up from stock earbuds.

Best budget earphones

Among budget earphones, reviewers point to the Maximo iMetal iM-590 as a good blend of quality and value. Though some feel that the competing Ultimate Ears Metro-Fi 170 earphones (*Est. $50) have better fidelity, critics like the warm, balanced sound...

Balanced sound, good noise isolation and fit, stylish, plenty of accessories

Noticeable cable thump, not the best sound quality, burn-in period needed

Gadgetell Review: Maximo iMetal iM-590 earphones

In the world of headphones, there are really cheap ones that come with music players that sound horrible and there are others that make you do a double take at the price tag. The Maximo iMetal iM-590 earphones are “enhanced definition isolation...

The Maximo iMetal iM-590 earphones provide a very good listening experience for a reasonable price. If you are the type of person who bristles at the idea of $99+ headphones but wants good audio quality, the iMetal iM-590 may be the earbuds for you.

When a few of my friends asked me casually, "Hey chc, what's your next review?" a while back, I answered without much thought. "The Maximo iMetal iM-590 earphones," I answered without much hesitation. Later on, I noticed that there are two particular...

Maximo updates its iMetal earphones with improved sound signature

Balanced sound ; Quiet cords ; Attractive design ; Tons of accessories ; Frequency response matches company specs ; Eartips fit wide range of ear canals ; Driven by portables without dedicated amp

Maximo has continued to improve the quality of its products without tacking on additional costs. The Vancouver, Washington-based company expanded its iMetal series of earphones with the iM-590. Instead of taking the previous-generation headphone and

Review: Maximo iMetal iM-590 Enhanced Definition Isolation Earphones

Like many of the earphones that have been released since V-Moda debuted the original Vibe, iMetal iM-590 uses a combination of aluminum bodied earpieces and silicone rubber tips to provide sturdy but comfortable housings that fit snugly in the ear....

There's only one small thing worth noting about the iM-590's audio. Unlike many earphone companies-some of which have argued against the efficacy of this practice-Maximo includes a notice in the package that recommends an 8-10 hour burn-in period...

"Product failed; customer service DOES NOT EXIST"

Don't buy anything from this sham company.

Physical headphones actually exist in the universe.

"Sounds decent but the build quality is terrible."

The build quality is terrible. The one earbud stopped working after not too much use. This is apparently quite common. Check the reviews on Amazon Customer support is terrible. Sure it has a lifetime warranty if you could ever get a hold of them. I...
