Monster iSport Victory review: Respectable running headphones but the so-so sound quality and heavy remote control make them far from perfect.
Secure fit ; Lots of wingtips and silicone tips ; Easy-to-use inline remote ; Good Bluetooth connectivity
So-so sound quality ; Heavy remote control ; Slightly awkward neckband
These exercise-friendly headphones won’t fall out of your ears, but it’s hard to ignore the tug of the remote control and slightly lacklustre sound.

The iSport Victory is Monster's premium in-ear wired sports headphone. It comes in a couple of different colors and retails for around $150 in the US, £130 in the UK, and AU$229 in Australia. That's probably a little more than it should cost, but it...
The Monster iSport Victory fits very securely and comfortably and is sweat-resistant and literally washable. It also delivers good sound, with strong bass and detail. An Apple-friendly inline remote and microphone is included along with a smart...
The headphone seals out the outside world, which can be bad if you're a runner or biker and want to hear oncoming traffic. The remote buttons are small, and the middle ControlTalk button is stiff.
Despite a couple of small flaws, the Monster iSport Victory offers a great fit, is water-resistant, and one of the better sounding in-ear sports headphones out there.

Next month, Monster will make available its range of iSport in-ear headphones, touted as "the athlete's headphones". We road-tested the iSport Victory series, which have a useful design that hooks the headphones on the front inside rather than over the...
There are much cheaper in-ear headphones that deliver the same quality sound. Nevertheless, the Monster iSport Victory sit quite well in the ear and perform well in all conditions.

For 2017, Monster's got lots of new sports headphones, including the new iSport Victory BT.

The wireless, exercise-focused Monster iSport Victory BT earphones deliver Bluetooth audio with massive bass and boosted highs.
Powerful audio performance with two listening modes that both feature huge bass. Secure fit ideal for exercise. Sweat resistant. Reflective cable.
Will not appeal to anyone looking for even a semi-accurate mix. Easy to misfire with multifunction buttons.
Obviously, no one will be doing any critical or reference listening through the iSport Victory In-Ear Wireless Headphones—that's not what they're meant for. Bass lovers will really enjoy the intense low frequency response, and the fact that there are...

I'm a fan of the iSport Victory and have been using it for a while, though I'm gravitating more toward Bluetooth headphones for running and working out at the gym these days, so part of me kind of wishes this came in a wireless version.

Snug fit and limited movement, particularly when running Plenty of bass and clear treble sounds Nicely-constructed carry pouch
Expensive Some users might find them uncomfortable

One shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
The Monster offers surprisingly good sound, packaging taken into account. Moreover, the price is at the lower end.
If one has to say anything negative, it must be the design, which is perhaps not be the prettiest.
Monster iSport Victory is sensibly priced, and plays surprisingly well. The battery life is quite reasonable, and is especially fun with its two audio profiles. The appearance is a matter of taste, and personally I can overlook the fact that they are...
