An upbeat, unfussy pair of headphones that should find many fans
Clean, lively treble ; Energetic sound
Sound loses composure at high volume
From the brooding tones of The Dead Weather to cheesy ’90s pop tunes, it’s the willingness to get the best out of a recording that makes these PSBs so appealing.

Costing $100 less than its highly regarded noise-canceling sibling, the PSB M4U 1, is a very clean, accurate headphone that offer first-class sound and won't break the bank at $299.
The ; offers excellent, clean, and accurate sound. The headphones fit comfortably and come with both a "plain" cable and one that has an integrated one-button remote and microphone for making cell-phone calls. A nice carrying case and an extra set of...
Like most hinged headphones, the M4U 1's hinges might pose long-term reliability concerns. The headphones high performance can make poorly recorded and compressed music (MP3s) sound worse.
The PSB M4U 1 delivers first-class audiophile sound at home or on-the-go with your mobile device.

The ; have really comfy earpads, keep working even after the batteries have drained, and sound great.
The M4U 2s are a bit more expensive than most top-of-the-line noise-canceling headphones.
The PSB Speakers M4U 2 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones combine above-average noise cancellation with excellent sound quality that's well worth the price for dedicated audiophiles looking to eliminate ambient noise.

Purchased a set recently. The pivot where the earpiece mounts to the headband is now cracking. I called customer service and they said it can't be fixed. They offered me 25% off (which you can regularly find on sales) on a new or refurbished set (now...
Good sound and features
Design flaw on ear=cup mounting- they will NOT fix it.

A must buy can for 300$ price point. Best cans at 300$ price point.Suitable for all genres viz., Classical, Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, RnB, Dub Step, Piano music, Unplugged, Trance, House, Electronic, Dance, Country etc. They are the only headphones to get all...
Excellent reproduction of sound that they make bad recording sound really.Passive noise isolation, you needn't listen to songs at full volume,35-50% vol is enough.Extra ear pads, detectable cable ,nice carrying case and cleaning cloth.
Had to spend all of my savings to buy these(cheaper against M4U2s),slightly uncomfortable(head-force)however afterwards one becomes used to. With the sonic quality they offer one forgets about the discomfort.1 yr warranty in India(2 in US/Canada).
Consumer review (head-fi.org)
This has been called beats for audiophiles. It has great sound, is neutral and detailed, but they are glossy and fairly fashionable. In general, I like a V shape and listen to hardcore, metal, metalcore, so treble and bass add a more lively sound. This...
Accurate, detailed, and neutral. Responds to EQ
Too damn big!
Consumer review (head-fi.org)
These attractive 'phones are a mixed bag for us. The bright red color is certainly distinctive. Build quality, while mostly shiny plastic, feels fairly robust. Many aspects of their sound are truly outstanding, but (and it's a fairly BIG but) they...
Midrange purity, superb soundstage, excellent bass extension
Heavy, somewhat uncomfortable for long listening sessions

***Others have provided ample images / specification overviews, so my review is focused on convincing you to try these out, with some comparisons to headphones in and out of its price range. A 5 Point Scale – 1 being Bad, 5 being Excellent / Industry...
Sound Quality, design/accessories, reasonable price, good comfort
Comfort requires some break-in, smallish earpads, optimized for devices not home-listening
