Rosewill Power Bass Canal Headphone RH-BUD168

Cheap, comfortable fit

Not the best sound quality

I cannot use them

I am only giving it a second egg because I have got a good experience with Rosewill products so far, but otherwise it would be one egg. I would return, but shipping charges will end up being as much as I paid for it.

Solid construction, the sound I get from only one side is good. It is built by Rosewill and I have nothing, but good experiences with them

The plug is not standard stereo, as it has a four connection jack instead of three. Yet, it does not have a microphone or control button to explain the extra connection ; I would not mind about that at all, but I think that the connection is the reason...

OK for the price

These are not high end phones by any stretch but are useable with EQ adjustments for utilitarian listening. These are LOUD. My old ZEN player (still beats all my other players) has volume settings from "0" to "25". A volume setting of "1" is almost too...

Nice looking. L/R marked. Low Newegg price. Free fast shipping ; I don't like canal phones but these are VERY comfortable. I forget they are being worn ; Stay in my ears. Regular earbuds (non-canal) don't ; Mask outside noise. (see cons) ; Ample volume...

Muddy sound quality. Booming bass and lacks bright highs. Must use EQ to compensate ; Masks most outside noise which I don't like because 99% of the time I use them while working on things, and need to hear some outside sounds for safety

Cheap

These were a cheap pair of headphone for both of my kids to take to school. I dont care if they get lost or destroyed for the price. Not the best sound, but sure beats using a shared set of headphone in the classroom.

Cheap

Sounds echo in headset. It sounds like you are in a box

Plenty of bass... not much else

Glad I only paid $5 for them

You can practically feel the bass

Nothing but low-end, sounds muddy ; TRRS plug works on some devices fine, have to pull it slightly out on others

Update after 3 weeks

You get what you pay for.

They were cheap

My first set has already stopped working out of the blue after only 3 weeks. Looks like the plug and wire somehow disconnected. Strange since I never even unplug it from my ipod

boom boom

power bass! these earbuds look good and the sound is decent but the construction could be better. overall I would say not bad, but far from great. If you don't expect too much, you might not be let down.

low price, metal housing, big bass

the metal grills where the ear pieces attach are cut rough. wires are flimsy, mids and highs drowned out by bass

HP G62-219WM

I upgraded the ram in mine to 6GB and then bought an anytime upgrade key to win 7 professional off of the internet for 18 bucks and now this thing does anything I want it to. (again with the exception of playing popular game on high settings)

The look very nice

Left side so faint you have to unplug the RT to even detect if working. NO volume and the sound you get is just horrible. Not much lost due to the price but not even worth that because they got tossed into a drawer never to see light again

Great deal!

If you're an audiophile, it's best to stay away from these. But if you're just looking for decently sounding and inexpensive earbuds, give these a try!

The sound is pretty good for the $5 Newegg sale price, and I was happily surprised that there was such a nice low-end range from these earbuds. You can feel the rumble of the bass that these earbuds create, even from a low volume level ; They feel nice...

The sound is good, and that's about it. Even though there is lots of nice bass, there isn't much mid or high, which was sorta disappointing
