Sony MDR-J20 Stereo Headphones

Inexpensive stereo headphones with a elastomer hanger.

Inexpensive and easy to find. Average sound quality that doesn't make the top end unlistenable. Clean across the board, but could use some meat in the lower midrange and upper bass. Very comfortable to wear when working out

Not as good as the $10 JVC HA-F120s. Bass could use some meat. The elastomer clips are comfortable but why couldn't they fit from the rear and not be visible. Better options are only $20 more

Great

I got them for wearing under a motorbike helmet (didn't want noise cancellers for safety reasons), I've tried a lot of headphones and these are the best, both sound quality and comfort, my last pair lasted about 18months, then I tugged them too hard...

Fell apart

The ruber part that wraps around your ear fell of after a month or so, when seeing if I could fix it, I could see that they weren't designed all that well and that they'd fall apart fairly quickly.

Terrible

I don't know if anyone from Sony actually reads these reviews, but these headphones were terribly made. I've never had a problem with any other headphones regarding their fit. These headphones do not stay in your ear, especially when you do anything...

Worst sports earphones in the history of mankind

These headphones advertise well because of the way it looks. If these headphones were anything but sports oriented they'd be ...okay..maybe. But for people who do intense sports, running, cardio, soccer, football, tennis, etc they are horrific. Only...

These are not made for the active athlete

While they claim that these headphones are suitable for the active workout - they are wrong. For example, each time I did sit ups, they fell off my ear. Also because of the design of the wire connecting to both headphones, the wire often tugs and again...

Would not purchase again

These things are huge and dont fit the ear properly. Four people in my family have tried them and these headphones are awkward fitting. It seems like you need large ears for them to fit right. The sound quality is garbage and not worth $20. My old...
