It dies soon after. I didn't buy it from Newegg so I'm stuck. Rowenta sells junk that looks great on the shelf at the store but dies soon after you begin to use it. And forget about receiving any repairs or compensation from the company, because...

Dissapointed in product and manufacturer

registered for this iron as a wedding gift. It died 3 months later. Made several attempts to work with Rowenta, but they won't stand behind their product or their "1 year warranty". Worthless. Stay away from Rowenta products. Their customer service...

appearance, retractable cord

cheap, broke in 3 months, Manufacturer doesn't back warranty.

Does the Job!

Gets hot enough for quilting. I'm not a quilter but my wife and mother are. This is my 2nd one as my wife dropped the first onto the tile floor multiple times. Get's hot stays hot.
