The Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 is an Android-toting iPad rival
Relatively affordable ; dock adds features ; good screen, solid AV performance
Android OS is buggy ; video format support could be better
The addition of the dock transforms the Eee Pad in to a serious contender

If you can handle the smallish keyboard, The Eee Pad Transformer TF101 Docking Station turns the Asus tablet into a powerful productivity device.
Physical QWERTY keyboard. Useful touchpad. Lots of Honeycomb-specific function keys. Snug connection with the Transformer. Folds closed like a laptop when connected.
Keyboard is not full-sized. Difficult to dock Transformer. Heavy.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 is the new PC tablet to be launched. It comes with latest application and add-on features.
• Great performance ; • Easy to attach and use keyboard ; • Fast processor ; • Responsive touchscreen

Android tablets have come a long way in the last 6-months or so. No doubt spurred on by the high quality chassis and screen used by Apple on their iPad models manufacturers went from having generic cases and varied screen qualities to the latest...

These things are a fad anyway. Just buy a real laptop. Use your phone for android stuff.
Its a keyboard and trackpad
When typing, my wrist always hits the track pad. I had to throw this away - just can't use it. No matter how careful I am, my wrist hits the trackpad and the cursor goes somewhere else. Probably just too small for both the pad and keyboard. Giving it...

Amazing what Apple didn't think of.....
It's much more than a keyboard ; a battery (yes, it will charge the main tablet) ; 2 USB ports (e.g., mouse, external USB drive, etc.) ; trackpad ; SD card plugin (e.g., camera digital cards) ; several dedicated function keys ; when closed, it provides...
None, it does what it says, and very well
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Other Thoughts: With the dock attached the unit gets a little heavy, I wouldn't want to set up reading a ebook with the additional dock weight. Yes I would buy it again.
Pros: It connects well and allows the use of USB and SD cards. The keyboard is a big plus, much easier to type and answer email. I am getting at least 6 to 7 hours use off the dock battery before it starts consuming the power in the tablet battery
Cons: The Newegg page under "details" states the dock/keyboard has a limited 1 year warranty. It arrived with paperwork and sticker on the unit that states it only has a 90 warranty. That may be the difference between a full warranty and a limited one....
