Every keyboard should be ultra slim. There is no going back.
Awesome keyboard. I love this thing. I bought it from Newegg in January of '08 and still works like a charm
The silver has worn off some? That's about all I can think of
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I've accidentally stepped on it once, no negative effect it seems, all keys responsive as new, have spilled a bit of coke over it, took a while to clean, but no damage. 5/5 for functionality and sensitivity. That's all i care about. Buy it
Very good price for the keyboard, I hit my keys really hard when playing stepmania (probably the best keyboard killing game there is) over 3million key strokes on four of the keys, sensitivity is still like new. It is the only keyboard that survived...
the keyboard is not water proof, and small things can fall in between keys somewhat easily, but keys can be removed and put back easily, haven't have one broken key yet ; Doesnt look fancy, or have pretty lights ; Letters wears off somewhat quick if...

I type a lot using the entire keyboard and this thing has a nice crisp touch, concave keys, guides on the f and j keys. I love it. Good job BTC
The USB cord could be a little more flexible
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Lightweight, easy to type on, quiet
Lasted 14 months - H key stopped working. You never know how important H is until it's gone. I could kinda understand if the F key had failed but H

Very approachable keyboard. The num and caps lock keys are bright enought for me, but my office is in the basement so it isn't too bright. Coming from a Saitek Eclipse II keyboard, I appreciate the lack of backlighting anyways. This is a nice...
All the keys you need and virtually none you don't. Soft, quick feedback from its scissor key design. Low profile saves space
Wish I could find a simple keyboard w/ a scroll wheel. I like to stay on the keyboard
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Very soft to the touch. I suffered from Carpal Tunnel, and after an ergo eval,it turns out this keyboard was good for my hands ; It's soft (doesnt make noise while typing),and my fingers dont ache. I have used this keyboard from my previous company for...
None so far

nice quiet keys (some of them)
The deck has elevated edge, and the front row keys go deep down under it. My thumb already hurts when I press the right Ctrl because of that ; The multimedia keys are very tough, the deck sags down when I press them. Also, the dock's material is rough...
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I bought it for work, and I'll be buying another for home.
This keyboard is great if you're like me and can type way faster on a slim keyboard. the scissor-style keys feel 'better' than most laptops
when fully depressed, the keys dip below the surface of the keyboard frame. you'd only notice it on the perimeter keys but sometimes it just feels weird. the grey paint on the frame is rough. i think they just should've left it unpainted. the paint is...

I'll probably get another one eventually to use with my desktop. They should make a version in solid black plastic so the paint doesn't wear off, as other users have complained.
It's a laptop keyboard with a cord on it. What more can you ask for? Fast typing, quiet keys, short keystroke length, fast action on the keys. I wanted one that was USB too so I could use it with my laptop. Solid construction as well, feels well built
my only gripe about the keyboard is that the directional keys are nearly level with the surrounding area making it slightly tough to find them by touch

BTC, Please make an all black version, include the PS/2 adapter, fix the bevel/lip around the keys' border, make the multi-media buttons just a tad bigger, and you will have a 5 Egg product!! Hell, maybe even a 6 Egg product! ;)
First of all, this is the USB version, but it's a 6300C. C = Combo according to the BTC website! So, I took a gamble and it paid off. I had a PS/2 adapter from my Logitech keyboard and it works just great. Phew, I won't need a USB KVM switch. More...
As others have mentioned, there is a bit of a lip, or bevel, that rises up next to where it meets the keys. Why, I don't know, but I wish it wasn't there. Although I'm over it and it only bothered me a little by the space bar. The multi-media buttons...
