A neat, innovative but rather pricey folio keyboard for iPad Air
Classy design with front and back protection ; Easy to remove iPad when you want ; Clever magnetic stand design
Keyboard takes a little getting used to ; Pricey in comparison to alternatives
A neat, innovative but rather pricey folio keyboard for iPad Air, but a good one if you can justify the price.

Sturdy and cleanly designed, Logitech's top-end iPad Air case looks the part, but it's lacking something in the typing comfort department.
The ; has a spill-resistant keyboard, offers some padding in its case design, and autoconnects via magnets.
It's expensive, has a keyboard layout that compresses some keys, and doesn't offer a ton of side protection.
The top-of-the-line FabricSkin Keyboard Folio for iPad Air is a sturdy spill-resistant case companion that's thinner than the previous version for iPad, but it's not the best keyboard accessory we've seen.

I've tried and tested a lot of iPad accessories over the years but the Logitech FabricSkin Keyboard Folio is the first one I can honestly say I'll be sorry to see the back of –– I'm writing this review on it RIGHT NOW and that never happens.

The FabricSkin folio has a spillproof faux-leather keyboard surface.
Easily cleanable keyboard surface ; Offers fairly good protection ; Automatic on/off switch
Shallow, marshmallowy keystroke ; Odd keyboard layout ; Stand only provides one angle
Perhaps not one for super-high-speed typists, but good for kids or multi-user use cases where its easily-cleaned keyboard surface would come in handy.

This keyboard folio has a single sheet of some kind of synthetic fabric as a keyboard surface, finished to a faux-leather texture between the keys and a smooth, plasticy finish on the keys themselves.

Shallow, marshmallowy keystroke ; Odd keyboard layout ; Stand only provides one angle
Perhaps not one for super-high-speed typists, but good for kids or multi-user use cases where its easily-cleaned keyboard surface would come in handy.
Consumer review (cnet.com)
This is a lot of money for a poorly designed product. Just looking at it, you wonder what they were thinking to hold a 16 oz iPad in place with a very thin strip of rigid plastic attached to a flexible cover. If this flaw were fixed with a redesign,...
Good protection with silicone keyboard against screen and the black rubberized "fabric" making it fairly slip proof. Keyboard spacing is good. Magnetic closure keeps the folio shut, protecting the iPad. Single piece design keeps iPad protected.
The upper interior corners have two flanges to hold the iPad. The left one, very thin plastic strip because of the off button, cracks with ordinary use. iPad readily slips out of its purported protective case. Crash. Common problem noted on Amazon.
