With a low price, flashy backlighting, and Cherry MX Blue switches, the RGB80 is a curious mixture of a keyboard that may or may not work for you, but will impress those wedded to clackety mechanical keys and bright lights.

Tenkeyless keyboards, by definition, require compromise. The RGB80 meets gamers halfway in a good-faith effort, and gets much more right than it does wrong. Overall, we recommend this peripheral for its excellent in-game performance, small size and...
Compact design ; Pretty, colorful illumination ; Great in-game performance
Impractical swappable keys ; Inconsistent macro features ; Software is a mixed bag
The Rosewill RGB80 is a solid tenkeyless gaming keyboard with good performance and fun lighting effects.

100% satisfied, I would definitely recommend purchasing this product.
Got the keyboard when it was on sale for $49.99, with free shipping. The 16.8 million color backlight is very nice, and the keyboard feels amazing to type on. The keyboard comes with the black keys installed. You can easily pop them off and install the...
It's not necessarily plug-and-play, as I had to install the drivers from the CD. Not a big con, but it does consume a small amount time.

Overall I would recommend this keyboard if you don't mind not having a numpad or usage of the windows key.
I love the feeling of the keys and the clicky sound they make. You can tell when you have pressed a key. Backlit so you can see in the dark. You can change the color of it too. There are also 3 modes: single color, single dimming, and color loop. Every...
Cons: There's no numpad, so you can't use the alt codes. This can be worked around by getting a separate numpad and setting some keys on the keyboard as numpad keys. You can't change the color on the pc mode. It's just magenta. For whatever reason, you...

if you dont drink liquids or smoke while gammig, or need a 10 key pad have bigger fingers or pound the keys this kb is for you, otherwise, seek something a bit more forgiving
solid, good connector hefty cord, brightness options good
even with a lightning fast disconnect, did not survive 2nd coffee splash, yeah , i know... asking alot, but i lost 3 very important keys for my gamming, its real loud with high key travel without the silicone rubber rings, which i purchased, and solved...

other than the key cap thing, it's great, no complaints.
Works straight out the box. Feels Great.
The software. Mine didn't come with the CLEAR directional "up" instead it came with two "rights" that are clear so now I have a CLEAR "left, down and right" directional keys with a black "up" key /:

I won't return since I got it cheap and it works anyways minus the lights.
Works as advertised except no lights.
No lights.

I bought two of these on sale for 50 bucks each - thought for that price I couldn't go wrong. Shipping was fast, as per normal. About that fast shipping - Fedex smashed one box badly enough for the retail packaging inside to be seriously compromised....
Attractive appearance. The braided cable is the nicest bit that came in the box. Nothing else really.
Cheap quality. Poor quality. All plastic construction. My biggest gripe is with the Kailh blue switches. They're very inconsistent; some give a 'bump' or 'click' when pressed...sometimes...sometimes not. Some click most of the time, some click all of...

Perhaps there's a reason why it's up for shell shocker again after just 2 months.
Good weight, won't get Blue's always my favorite switch, nice feedback.
Struggles with combos that I can do easily on mushy keyboards I buy from China for 15 bucks. I mean, simple stuff like double-tap W followed by holding down S, or even alt+W. Some serious inherent rollover issues, or maybe just a lapse in QC.
