The term Ultrabook becomes more loosely defined with every release under its name. The latest to bend the ultra-slim rules, the Acer Timeline M3 Ultra, despite not being particularly thin has a lot about it worth getting excited about. At £600 the M3...
Great graphics and battery, price
Build, uninspiring design, screen
At £600 the M3 offers fairly persuasive value for money. It also makes it one of the cheaper Ultrabooks - funny, given it doesn't really deserve the name. It should fall into a new category altogether, aimed directly at those who want to game on the...

It seems safe to say that Ultrabooks haven't given the PC market the shot in the arm that Intel was hoping for. The high prices haven't helped, of course, and there also seems to be some evidence that many people are turned off by the relatively small...
If you want a laptop that is really slim and light then you’ll obviously want to opt for a 13in Ultrabook instead. But if you compare the M3 to most 15.6in laptops then it actually comes out looking pretty good. It’s one of the slimmest and lightest...

The Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 has got a lot of people excited and mostly, rightly so. It's a great laptop for gaming on the go and offers plenty of power and great battery life. It's not beautiful, has a quite lacklustre display and isn't made of...

Ultrabooks were originally introduced as a way for PC manufacturers to compete with Apple's MacBook Air series and for the most part, they have
