The Acer Chromebook Spin 513 is an affordable Chromebook that's powered by a Snapdragon processor and features a stylish design.
Super-light and portable design ; Sharp display with decent colours ; Outstanding battery life ; Whisper-quiet performance
Flat speakers ; Mediocre performance ; No keyboard backlight

The Acer Chromebook Spin 513 is a perfectly competent Chromebook
Decent battery life ; Versatile form factor ; Quiet in operation
Mid-range performance ; Cheap trackpad feel ; No memory card slot
The Acer Chromebook Spin 513 gives you more or less what you would expect for the price: a decently performing Chromebook that's lightweight and quiet. The key selling points to note are very good battery life and a screen that folds all the way back.

Acer's newest ARM Chromebook packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a sleek design, and an attractive price. But is it any good?
Sleek, stylish design USB-C power Strong battery life 2-in-1 design Great trackpad
Average speaker quality Extremely glossy display No memory card slot Performance falls short of competing Chromebooks at this price
The Chromebook Spin 513 is a good Chromebook and it has an attractive price to go with its stylish design, good battery life, and plenty of flexibility. But the Snapdragon just isn’t as good as you can find in competing Chromebooks powered by Intel at...

Despite obvious limitations, this Chromebook has some great touches that you won't find in laptops twice the price. So what does it get wrong?
Unusually good touchpad ; Reserved but stylish design ; Solid and comfortable keyboard ; (Mostly) Good 1080p IPS screen
Slow storage ; Poor performance with 3D gaming ; Limited maximum brightness ; Weak speakers
This Chromebook's phone-like Snapdragon processor doesn't bring the performance boost we hoped for, but a solid keyboard, touchpad, and screen combiation all help to make this a satisfying Chromebook.

Our review shows Acer's Spin 513 Chromebook is light and long-lasting, ticking two major laptop buying boxes. Even if it falls down somewhat elsewhere

An affordable Chromebook convertible with good looks but mediocre performance
Stylish, sleek exterior ; Reasonable screen quality ; Good battery life ; Affordable
Underwhelming Snapdragon SoC ; Middling build quality ; Poor connectivity

Ideal for elementary school, and not much else.
Excellent battery life ; Good screen with stylus support ; Backlit keyboard
Slow compared to competition ; Meh audio ; No microSD storage expansion
Acer’s latest Chromebook, the Chromebook Spin 513, is one of the first Snapdragon-powered Chromebooks you can buy. It’s definitely good value for its $399.99 price point, as long as you won’t be pushing it too hard.

Did Acer deliver a knockout punch with its Qualcomm-powered Chromebook? Find out more in this Acer Chromebook Spin 513 review.
Solid 2-in-1 design ; Responsive touch display and trackpad ; Fine backlit keyboard ; Excellent battery life
Iffy webcam ; Limited ports ; Performance not top-notch
Acer has crafted a competitive Chromebook in the Spin 513, which slots into the middle of the market and has plenty of fight in it to take on other Chromebooks. It boasts a good display, a solid keyboard and trackpad combo, and excellent battery life....
