The Acer Swift Edge 16 is a lightweight OLED laptop, packing cutting-edge features such a new Ryzen processor and support for Wi-Fi 7.
Impressively well-rounded performance ; Bright and rich 3.2K OLED display ; Impressively lightweight ; Top-tier port selection
Odd trackpad click ; Poor speakers ; Eager fans
The Acer Swift Edge 16 is an excellent laptop for those who crave power in a lightweight chassis. It may not offer a luxury design but the light build manages to pack in excellent productivity performance, capable creative chops and some basic gaming...

The Acer Swift Edge is one of the lightest 16-inch laptops on the market, coming with a vibrant OLED 4K display.
Gorgeous 4K OLED display ; Extremely light for its size ; Great port selection ; Reliable productivity performance
Speakers don’t get very loud ; Awkward typing experience ; Not quite as powerful as rivals ; Battery life is below par
The Acer Swift Edge is one of the lightest 16-inch laptops I’ve ever reviewed. Not only does it weigh just 1.17kg, but it also has a decent selection of ports and a fantastic OLED 4K display.

Somehow making a large laptop very portable
Very thin and light for its size ; Gorgeous display ; Solid productivity performance ; Very good webcam
A bit pricey ; Keyboard feels a bit cramped
The Acer Swift Edge 16 (2023) does two things incredibly well – it’s surprisingly thin and light for such a large laptop, and its display is gorgeous. The rest of the package is good enough but not outstanding. And, the price is a little hard to...

Looking for a 16-inch laptop that doesn't weigh much at all? Our Acer Swift Edge review reveals whether this ultrabook is right for you
Very light ; Lovely 4K display ; Lots of ports ; Fast and responsive ; Good value for the price
Doesn't support Thunderbolt 4 ; Lacks number pad ; Average battery ; Average audio
The Acer Swift Edge has two big selling points: its supreme lightness, and its beautiful 16-inch 4K display. So if you want a large screen for entertainment and productivity, and you plan to be on the move a lot, it's a good choice. On the downside,...

This AMD-powered 16in OLED laptop weighs next to nothing. Does that make the Acer Swift Edge ideal for commuting creators?
Practically as portable as a 13in thin-and-light ; Gorgeous 4K OLED screen ; Consistent performance and battery life
Some keyboard issues ; Fair bit of pre-installed bloat ; Fan can get mighty loud
A sumptuously slim laptop with a stunner of a screen. AMD power delivers on performance and battery life, too. The Swift Edge is purpose-built for hybrid workers who don’t want to be weighed down by their tech.

The Acer Swift Edge 16 packs Zen 4 and OLED goodness in a thin and light package.

This is a 16-inch notebook that weighs less than most 13 and 14-inch notebooks. Yes, you read that right.
Truly portable, incredibly light and thin ; Sharp OLED display ; Decent performance ; Good battery life ; Good port selection
Doesn't feel absolutely solid ; No touchscreen ; Imprecise trackpad ; Weak-sounding speakers ; No support for Thunderbolt 4 & USB4
The TL;DR verdict: It’s not without its flaws but if you’ve always wanted a notebook with a big display and without the associated weight penalty, this is one notebook you should definitely check out.

The Acer's OLED display and AMD CPU are good, but this machine is too ordinary in several other important areas
Fantastic OLED screen ; Decent AMD processor ; Slim and light chassis
Build quality issues ; Disappointing keyboard ; No Thunderbolt or card reader

The Acer Swift Edge 16 is thin and light with a lovely OLED display. But its poor battery life and flexible lid and chassis set it back among today's best.
Thin and light chassis ; Beautiful OLED display ; Good productivity performance ; Reasonably affordable
Poor battery life ; Overly flexible chassis ; Needs a haptic touchpad
“The Acer Swift Edge 16 just doesn't last long enough on a charge.”

The Acer Swift Edge 16 is a fast 16-inch laptop for productivity users with a beautiful OLED display. It's incredibly thin and light, and it's nicely priced.
Strong productivity performance Superior OLED display Thin and light Comfortable keyboard and touchpad Attractive price
Chassis and lid a bit flexible Poor battery life Only one configuration available
“A gorgeous 16-inch OLED display and svelte profile make the Acer Swift Edge 16 an outstanding value.”
