It won't win you over with its design or any extensive features, but its power and price tag will catch your attention.
Affordable. Solid performance Digital audio-out and line-in ports.
Bland design. Below-average speaker quality. Integrated graphics.

Came with Microsoft Office and Student 2007 but an invalid cd key. Microsoft told me that I needed to talk to Acer about it because they handle the software issues.
Ready to use in about 5 minutes. Has built in camera above monitor. Easy to use. Dvd player/writer. Fast batery charge. Great connectivity to wireless utilities
Windows Vista, quiet speakers

I bought it when it was first released a few months ago. It is so good so far. Fast, Core Duo for multitasking, great value, great product. I bought it from another big computer store, but I did not find any Acer computers in its repair shop. So Acer...
Fan is somewhat too noisy ; No 1394 port, no S-video, no bluetooth, may go Aspire AS5672WLMi for them ; No dedicated video card, but won't expect it for the price

It took me under 2 minutes to convert from FAT32 to NTFS so how can that be a Con. This is a great laptop and is hard to beat for the price and what you get.
Duo Core Processor, Windows XP Pro, 1 MB RAM, 100 GB HD, DVD-RW Drive, the duo core processor is plenty fast
NO 1394 firewire card, Don't try transferring your DV to the laptop because Acer seems to be the only one Not to include a 1394 firewire card

A great value and excellent specs
Acer's customer support is horrible

converting from FAT3 to NTFS involves risks and may lead to inefficient use of disk space, you computer genius should probably know, and it takes unnecessary time.and don't write a review if you have nothing to say about the laptop itself, but just to...
Looks great, works like a charm
unstable startup tasks, especially the ones came with the acer package
Consumer review (newegg.com)
to the guy complaining about fat32...does he know the differences in file systems? or that windows xp pro has builtin utils that can convert the filesytem...not to mention the hundreds of off theshelf(or even free apps) can do the same...rediculously...

WWAN connectivity and GPS. The Acer travel mate 4202 DNA is obvious in the instantly recognizable black, square Scharf, but it can work lately so it is. ... Read review
