The all-new 15-inch MacBook Air is bigger and, for many, will be a simply better proposition – here's why
Superb battery life ; Silent operation as no fan cooling ; Apple's M2 is a real powerhouse when needed ; Thin and light despite 15.3-inch screen – so still portable
That divisive screen notch ; MagSafe charger cable tangles up ; Do you really need a 15-inch MacBook Air?
The 15-inch MacBook Air's sell is simple: it's a MacBook Air, embodying everything typically slim, light and portable about that, only it's got a bigger screen (and bigger sound as an added bonus). There are no significant compromises in opting for the...

Is bigger always better?
Big screen ; Slimline design ; Surprisingly good price
Same internal specs as a 13-inch model ; Less portable than 13-inch model
The Apple MacBook Air 15-inch (2023) is essentially just a larger MacBook Air 13-inch – and that's both a good and bad thing. It has a stunning design, a brilliant screen, and possibly the best speaker setup you'll find in a laptop. However, the bump...

Sometimes size does matter. Is the Apple MacBook Air 15-inch the new everyday laptop to buy? Here is my review.
Solid and premium design ; Excellent large display ; Superb performance ; Promising battery life
No Face ID ; Notch could be annoying ; Bezels could be slimmer
The MacBook Air 15-inch is a truly superb everyday laptop, with a solid and premium build quality, a stunning big display, excellent performance and a great battery life. There's nothing not to love here. It's the everyday laptop dreams were made of.

The 15-inch MacBook Air is the biggest version of this model that Apple has made. It's available alongside the 2020 and 2022 MacBook Air models, and it's the most expensive option. Apple boldly claims that this is the ‘world's best 15-inch laptop', so...

Apple's affordable large-screen MacBook is finally here.
Incredibly slim & relatively light ; Great performance ; Well-priced ; Silent operation ; MagSafe frees up USB-C ports ; Excellent built-in speakers ; Humongous trackpad
Only 8GB of memory as standard ; Upgrade options are pricey ; Only two USB-C ports ; Throttling can be an issue
The TL;DR version: The 15-inch MacBook Air’s combination of performance and portability makes it the ideal 15-inch notebook for most people. It might even tempt owners of the 13-inch MacBook Air to make a switch.

The speakers are nicer, but otherwise the 15-inch MacBook Air is mostly just the same thing you'd expect, but larger.

the 15-inch MacBook Air is identical to the 13-inch MacBook Air M2, which was originally introduced just a year ago. It has the same flat panels, narrow bezels, notch, larger function row of keys, and thin profile. It's still a design that looks and...
More screen! Excellent speakers Long lasting battery Shockingly thin Extra performance is welcome
Only supports one external display
I’m not someone who demands the need for multiple, large monitors to get my work done. I’m content on a 13-inch device and prefer to stay mobile with my work, even if just moving around the house. If you’re like me, you should buy one of the 13-inch...

You finally don't have to pay an arm and a leg for a large-screen Apple laptop.
Bigger, brighter display. Slim and lightweight. Large trackpad. The six-speaker system sounds excellent. 1080p webcam. Great performance for everyday tasks. Nice battery life.
Expensive. Lacks ports. Can't support more than one external display.

The MacBook Air 15 fills a gap in Apple's laptop lineup that hasn't been filled in basically ever: a large-screened laptop priced for the masses. There is no reason that Apple needed to wait this long. But it is releasing this model now, following many...
Big, spacious screen in a thin and relatively light chassis Excellent trackpad and keyboard Excellent performance Outstanding battery life
Limited ports Zero options for upgradability or expandability after purchase Thin profile can’t hide the fact that this is a big computer
The Air 15 will get you through a day and then some. You shouldn’t have to worry about it. In fact, you won’t have to worry about much when you’re using this device. It works, it works for a long time away from the wall, and it has a big old screen....

Bigger is definitely better
Ultra-slim chassis ; Lovely Liquid Retina display ; Excellent battery life ; Good performance ; Affordable
Not a lot of ports
The new MacBook Air 15 brings you a big, beautiful Liquid Retina display, excellent speakers and powerful performance in the world's thinnest 15-inch chassis.
