The Asus ZenBook 14 OLED UX3405MA has top-tier specifications that includes an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and 32GB of Ram. We'd expect it to be immensely powerful, but how does it fare when it comes to battery life, screen quality and all the other...

$1,299 gets you 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage
Thin, light design ; Good price for the specs ; Fast, bursty performance ; Vivid, colorful display
Throttled under stress testing ; Mushy keyboard ; Difficult to open
The Asus Zenbook 14 OLED is a slim ultraportable with great price for the high specs. It has solid performance for short tasks, but in the long term it throttled in our testing.

KitGuru has been waiting patiently to get hands-on with Intel's Meteor Lake laptop CPU and the time
Excellent battery life.
AI in laptops is new so the jury is still out on this front.
Usability is very good, however outright performance is mediocre.

The 2024 Asus Zenbook 14 OLED leverages Intel's Meteor Lake chipset for solid performance, with an excellent build and a quality OLED display.
Excellent OLED display Solid build quality Fast productivity performance Very good keyboard Attractive aesthetic
Mediocre creativity performance Limited configurations available

This ultralight 14-inch laptop has a sub-$1,000 price and is a good option for students, if you can ignore the quirks.
Excellent battery life. Great combination of price and performance. Sturdy.
Fan tends to drone on and on. Stingy on ports (which are somewhat outdated too). Some operational quirks. Design will be divisive.

Asus delivers another great 14-inch Zenbook, but it has one major flaw
Powerful performance, Gorgeous OLED display, Satisfying keyboard, Durable chassis
Muffled speakers, Mediocre battery life, Panel is a bit dim
Asus delivers the excellence we expect from Zenbook with its latest 14-inch ultraportable, but disappointing battery life takes away from an otherwise phenomenal laptop.

ASUS remains the OLED laptop leader, thanks to a lightweight package that perfectly complements its gorgeous screen.
OLED screen even better, somehow ; AI neural processor boosts performance ; Undercuts MacBook Air on price
Graphics performance could be better ; Not enough ports

the blue variant smudges easily ; touch OLED panel - bit muddy and not very bright ; runs quite warm with demanding loads
