The HP Spectre x360 16 2024 model is a well-built and attractive laptop with a great keyboard and touchpad. But it's underpowered and too large for a 2-in-1.
Good build quality Attractive aesthetic Excellent OLED display Great keyboard Exceptional haptic touchpad
Not fast enough for creators Large chassis Tablet mode is cumbersome
“The HP Spectre x360 16 is beautiful, but not fast enough for its intended use.”

HP's Core Ultra-based Spectre x360 16 has a sharp design, a dazzling OLED display, and advanced features. Its performance falls short of the premium hardware, though, particularly in graphics tests.

This pricey premium 2-in-1 is worth the price of admission
Large, vibrant display ; Great performance ; Incredible speakers ; Huge touchpad ; Sleek design
Limited ports ; Battery life could be better
The HP Spectre x360 16 blew me away in testing and everyday use, sporting powerful hardware that delivered top performance in a premium chassis.

It's oversized for tablet use and we wish the GPU upgrade provided more muscle, but we love the huge OLED display and massive haptic touchpad.
Beautiful, all-metal chassis ; Strong AV output with OLED display, quad speakers ; Super-sharp 9-megapixel webcam ; Massive haptic touchpad ; Long battery life
Limited performance from low-wattage RTX 4050 ; Too big as a tablet ; Always-on LED on power button gets annoying
