Lenovo is back with its new Legion Y540, a gaming laptop that offers the performance and features players want combined with a surprisingly light weight and mature design. The Legion Y540 is offered in 15-inch and 17-inch sizes with multiple...

Grooves in lid are prone to debris and hard to clean

I really like the laptop , I’m new to gaming / technology , its a really cool looking laptop , very easy to use , contains a lot of memory and overall can’t go wrong for the money.
Only down side is the battery life , it dies very quickly and the battery is very bulky

Great quality picture

Does exactly what I wanted it to without much effort. Mostly gaming. Plenty of space. Well set up out of the box (practically no bloatware) Pleasing to the eye without being too in your facing like some gaming builds. I can pull this out in work and no...
The battery is awful. But I knew that when I bought it. What I really needed was the portability of a laptop. So this is not a negative in my opinion.

Great spec for the price. Runs games well. Seems to have reasonably good cooling. Great to have such a good graphics card. Nice looking high refresh rate screen. It looks good too.
A slightly larger SSD would make a massive difference. Fans are fairly noisy (to be expected). Battery life is not very good but to get the best performance this needs plugged in anyway so I don't see this as unexpected.
