Disappointing screen. With the ThinkPad E570, Lenovo delivers a quiet, enduring office machine that serves with a good keyboard and lightning-fast NVMe SSD. The HD screen is a complete disappointment.
matte screen ; always runs quietly ; low temperatures ; NVMe SSD ; 2.5-inch hard drive ; good battery life ; maintenance hatch
dark, low-contrast, viewing angle dependent screen ; casing could be more robust ; no docking port (OneLink) ; one year warranty only
The ThinkPad comes with a Core i5 processor from the Kaby Lake generation, which has more than enough power for office and Internet applications. The laptop runs quietly over the entire load range and hardly heats up. Lenovo has made the wrong decision...

Affordable ThinkPad pioneer. After the smaller E470 quite convinced us, we now have Lenovo's ThinkPad E570 as a 15.6-inch Kaby Lake pioneer in the test. Our in-depth report reveals whether the larger model from the E lineup is just as convincing.
pleasant input devices ; satisfactory screen ; almost always noiseless ; above-average speakers ; strong GPU for a business laptop
display cover: unsatisfactory stability & build ; no USB Type-C ; unfavorable interface distribution ; throttling in the stress test
The E570, in fact, has many qualities that speak for the first 15.6-inch Kaby Lake ThinkPad on the market: The decent input devices are a main argument. Lenovo does not make any major mistakes with the screen; the limited color space can be excused in...

With the SSD it is quick to boot and power down. Good keyboard with Trackpoint/pointing stick which I like. Good screen
Lenovo have the Fn key where the control key is on all other keyboards so sometimes a little frustrating

Best investment I could have made.
Mouse is a bit jammy at times.

Can't think of anything yet. Mind it has taken me a week to set up but that's more to do with the 500Gb of data downloading from OneDrive

Only had a week but so far seems excellent very quick, easy to set up its great. Good service

Very fast, but I'd expect that from a brand new machine. Keyboard feels really nice - good design overall, feels quite sleek for a large laptop. Battery life is fine.
