You've never seen a 2-in-1 laptop this powerful
Unparalleled 2-in-1 performance ; Competitive battery life ; Snappy trackpad and keyboard ; Sturdy hinge
No USB-C charging ; No HDMI or SD card slot ; Down-firing speakers
The 15-inch Lenovo Yoga 720 is an excellent value for what’s on offer. Albeit with only a 1080p screen, the model we reviewed is well-designed and more powerful than its closest rivals without skimping on the battery life.

A svelte, powerful and portable 2-in-1
Sturdy hinge ; Crisp display ; Responsive keyboard and touchpad
The cooling fans run a lot ; Only one standard USB port ; No memory card reader
The Lenovo Yoga 720 is a budget friendly 2-in-1 capable of handling what’s thrown at it, so long as you’re not expecting all-day battery life.

Lenovo's Yoga 720 15 is a powerful 2-in-1, but the display is mediocre and battery life suffers.

The new 15.6-inch Yoga 720 sheds some bezel and gains graphics power and active pen support.

The Lenovo Yoga 720 is a powerful convertible, thanks to its Nvidia GeForce GTX GPU and Core i7 CPU, and it has longer battery life than its competitors.
Sharp, vivid display; Balanced audio; Strong productivity and graphics performance; Long battery life
A bit heavier than other 2-in-1s; Plain design

This year has brought one of the most beautiful and capable Lenovo YOGA laptops we've seen so far: the YOGA 720. This laptop -- the 15" version, in this case -- sports a sleek all-metal body alongside an Ultra HD glossy display, powerful graphics, and...
Premium metal design ; Excellent touchscreen display and keyboard ; Fingerprint sensor + Windows Hello support ; Good battery life, USB-C ; Great hardware options
Too heavy to comfortably carry ; Gets smudged easily ; No SD or HDMI ports

Convertible Powerhouse. The Lenovo Yoga line has long been the leader in the 2-in-1 notebook market. With the redesigned Yoga 720, the Chinese manufacturer looks to expand that dominance. Can the 15-inch model be flexible enough for consumers, or will...
solid, well-built chassis ; great keyboard ; uniform colors ; great maintenance/upgrade options ; pressure-sensitive pen support wth Windows Ink ; exceptional GPU performance ; pleasing speakers
middling port selection ; screen not suitable for outdoor use ; CPU throttles under load ; heavy and big to use as a tablet
The Lenovo Yoga 15 can be aptly described as a "jack of all trades, master of none." It straddles several different notebook categories and does well in each, but overall makes some compromises to accommodate such a broad range of scenarios. It's a...

Lenovo has updated its Yoga 700 product line with a new model, the Lenovo Yoga 720. This model is best described as sleek, silver and slim, if you'll forgive the alliteration, and it comes with a sub-$1,000 price. There's a lot to like about this...
Slim and attractive ; Thunderbolt / USB-C ; Thin bezels ; Traditional keyboard layout ; JBL stereo speakers
Fan whirred frequently ; Lack of ports
The Lenovo Yoga 720 is a sleek laptop with a premium feel and an attractive design, and that’s just the start of things to like about it. Features like a fingerprint sensor, touchscreen, and a 360-degree hinge help set the latest Yoga model apart....

Thanks to Lenovo's expertise in making 2-in-1 laptops, which let you use it as a laptop or a thick tablet, you can now get a relatively inexpensive machine that doesn't make you feel like you picked your computer up from the prize counter at Chuck E....
It performs nearly on par with laptops that command twice the price.
