Samsung attempts a true MacBook Pro competitor with the Galaxy Book4 Ultra, but does it succeed?
Surprisingly portable Beautiful OLED screen Good battery life Cheaper than the MacBook Pro Quiet and cool
Underpowered without performance mode No SD card slot Lackluster keyboard Poor webcam and speakers
“The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Ultra is ambitious, but ultimately falls short of the competition.”

Samsung's Galaxy Book4 Ultra is a powerful contender in the 16-inch laptop arena, but it's costly and displays in 1800p instead of the 4K resolution found in cheaper alternatives.

This behemoth of a laptop is ultrapowerful with great battery life, but it has some quirks and a scary price.
Outstanding performance, especially on graphics tasks. Big screen provides lots of room to spread out. Plenty of expansion ports. Very good battery life.
Extremely slow to boot. Finicky, oversize touchpad. Doesn’t always play nice with third-party chargers. Ghastly expensive.

Samsung's Galaxy Book4 Ultra improves on the Galaxy Book3 Ultra with absolutely stellar battery life complementing a gorgeous screen, audio, and a decently powerful GPU.
Absolutely fantastic battery life ; Solid GPU and graphics performance ; Gorgeous OLED screen that can be used outdoors ; Great audio ; AI-powered Core Ultra inside
Chargers keep getting bigger ; Still not a great keyboard
Samsung’s premium laptop still delivers an all-around great experience, now with even better battery life and an AI-powered processor.

Samsung's answer to the Macbook Pro is better than ever
Gorgeous 120Hz AMOLED display ; Powerful CPU and GPU combo ; Excellent battery life ; Relatively thin and light ; Robust Samsung ecosystem
Performance doesn’t quite match top competitors ; Retail pricing high for max configuration ; Webcam could be better in low-light
The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is in a challenging market segment but rises to that challenge.

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Ultra is one of the best laptops you can buy right now. But it's not everything I expected and there may be better choices for some users.
Solid and premium build and materials ; Lovely look and aesthetic ; OUTSTANDING display! ; Decent but not perfect port selection ; Windows 11 has been excellent ; Intel's new chipset combined with the RTX 4050 give this great performance standards ;...
Very expensive and you could find a better laptop for less ; The keyboard isn't great ; The trackpad is abysmal ; Samsung software seems like too much going on
The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Ultra is a fine laptop, there’s no denying that. Samsung always makes some solid hardware on most of its device lineup. But this is certainly never going to replace a MacBook, if that’s what you’re looking for. If not, and...

The biggest Samsung Galaxy brings some potent computing power.
Excellent specs ; Bright AMOLED screen ; All-day battery
A bit dull and grey ; Sound quality not great ; Expensive
While it lacks the excitement of many gaming laptops, the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Ultra offers a lot of capability thanks to its powerful Intel and Nvidia chips. It’s well put-together, the screen is bright, colourful and lends itself to a wide display...

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Ultra is an awesome workstation, especially if you already rock other Samsung gear.
Slim and light traditional design ; Gorgeous and massive AMOLED display ; Excellent overall performance ; Thinner, lighter, and more affordable than the equivalent Dell XPS 16
Battery life isn't exceptional ; Works great with other Samsung products, but is drowning in extra Samsung apps and software
Samsung's highest-end Galaxy Book right now is an excellent alternative to the extremely expensive Dell XPS 16 or even MacBook Pro 16, with a slim and straightforward design, gorgeous display, and fantastic performance. If you have other Samsung...
