The Sony VAIO S Series may seem like a mediocre all-purpose laptop, and it is one. But it's also thin, light, and quite portable, and it sports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Intel Wireless Display technology, and optional embedded mobile broadband. In other words,...

Sony makes some fantastic laptops. It has one foot firmly in the consumer camp and one in the business camp. This means business users stand a good chance of getting a laptop that is good at things like multimedia handling, while still being able to...
If environmental considerations are important to you then the fact that 85% of the plastics in the VAIO VPCS13V9E/B are made from recycled materials may well appeal. You’ll also like that the LED is mercury free. The plentiful RAM and large hard drive...

Sony has cut down on the number of different laptop lines it offers , but you're still left with the Vaio E, S, T, and Z series. Of those, the Vaio S is probably the most universally useful, combining sharp, high-end design with powerful components, a...
Powerful, thin, and reasonably lightweight, the Sony Vaio S includes a quad-core CPU, a Blu-ray player, and a good package of preinstalled software.
This is still an expensive laptop that's caught in the middle, with other premium laptops outperforming it and less expensive ones catching up in terms of design. Also, the touch pad felt especially finicky.
The 15-inch Sony Vaio S does gaming, Blu-ray, and a lot more, all while keeping the design thin and light.

Beautiful 1080p IPS display ; 0.95" thin and just 4.4 lbs. ; Backlit keyboard
Keyboard a little too soft ; Lid too flexible ; Inaccurate clickpad

The Sony Vaio S 15” is an effective laptop that can be used for a variety of productivity tasks and also for light gaming. I personally think that it would be great for just about everything everything except hardcore gaming. As such, it should work...

The introduction of netbooks brought in low-power computing, but it also brought along compact laptops that were easy to carry around. Suddenly, ultra portable notebooks were seen as extremely expensi
At Rs. 56,990, it’s not exactly great value for money as far as performance is concerned. It’s design like many of Sony’s other designs are catchy. As you plan on using it as a mobile workhorse, you’re bound to get better performance in the...

Sony's S Series VAIO is a 13.3in notebook that packs plenty of features. It's also attractive and comfortable to use.
Heaps of built-in features, Attractive design and colour, Comfortable, backlit keyboard
Slow hard drive leads to overall sluggish perfomance, Low screen resolution, All USB ports are on one side and next to each other
