TV Plus from Belkin lets you watch live and recorded TV on your smartphone, tablet or laptop. Read our review to find out more.

While Belkin should be applauded for entering a market dominated by Slingbox, @TV Plus feels very much like a work in progress, a promising start that still has some way to go. If Belkin can build on this fairly solid if a little shaky foundation they...

Belkin @TV Plus

The Belkin @TV Plus lets you watch TV or recorded DVR content from any device at a bargain price, but it's not quite as polished as a Slingbox.

Smooth video streaming. Records TV directly to mobile devices. Wi-Fi-enabled. Free iPad app.

Clumsy setup process. Streamed video is standard-definition only and lacks detail.

Video Quality, Mobile Apps, and Conclusions After the firmware update, the Belkin @TV Plus reconnected to my wireless network. Video quality was good, but not great, overall. The Belkin @TV Plus smoothly adapted to whatever bandwidth was available and...

Belkin @TV Plus

The Belkin @TV Plus connects to your cable box and lets you stream and record TV on virtually any connected device.

Easy setup; Intuitive interface; Lets you record TV to your mobile device

Only streams 480p video; No HDMI support

Click to EnlargeEasy to set up and easy to use, the $179 Belkin @TV Plus delivers. While we prefer the design of the similarly priced Slingbox Solo, only the Belkin @TV has integrated Wi-Fi, so it doesn't need to be near your router in order for it to...
