It does give Motorola the opportunity to charge less for its device, specifically just $550. It's $50 cheaper than the previous generation, which Motorola is still charging $600 for.

The Motorola Edge for 2024 costs less than its predecessor and has better battery life, but its processor and camera can't quite keep up with similarly priced phones.

A rather boring and safe update to the mid-range Motorola Edge.

Motorola Edge (2024) isn't just a clone of the model from 2023. One notable change is the processor, which has been upgraded to a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chip. The battery has also been upgraded from 4,400mAh to 5,000mAh.
The new Edge is a mostly iterative update.

The Motorola Edge (2024) comes with some pretty impressive hardware for its midrange $550 price point: a 120Hz display, super-fast charging up to 68 watts, and more. It'll be available more or less anywhere you can buy phones starting June 20.
The latest iteration of the Edge from Motorola has officially launched in North America, boasting a 50MP front camera and a 5000mAh battery. The phone is also capable of 15W wireless charging, and it has an edgeless 6.6-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz...
