Motorola's latest budget-focused phone, the Edge 50 Fusion, brings a feeling of luxury back to economy class.
Sleek, stylish design ; Strong 144Hz display ; Snappy main camera
Some bloatware ; No HDR10 support
The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is another excellent budget-focused phone, boasting a 144Hz display, 68W wired charging, and a sleek design with IP68 water resistance.

The Edge 50 Fusion combines vibrant design with a powerful camera and solid battery life, making it a standout choice in the mid-range market
Colourful design with unique materials ; Huge battery with rapid charging ; Very capable main camera
Camera app could be more responsive ; Some annoying software bloatware
Motorola delivers excellent value with the Edge 50 Fusion. Vibrant design, a capable camera, and fast charging make for a package that makes you forget it’s a more affordable handset. There are still reminders that this isn’t a flagship, such as some...

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has both 5G and Wi-Fi 6, together with impressive specs – so it looks good on paper. But how does perform in real life and is it worth buying? A trip to the Which? test lab provides the answers. Read our Motorola Edge 50...

After introducing the Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Ultra, Motorola added a third member to its Edge lineup in the Edge 50 Fusion. We would hesitate to call it...
Exquisite design, colors and materials.
No HDR support.
Ultimately, we would say that if the Moto Edge 50 Fusion speaks to you, particularly with its looks, it won't disappoint in any particular way, and you should go for one. If looks aren't your first priority, perhaps shop around a bit more.

The most affordable from Motorla's Edge series in 2024, the Edge 50 Fusion, gives users more than they paid for, and we love it for that!

Long battery life and fast charging ; Smooth and vibrant display ; Great value
Curved display an acquired taste
There's so much going for the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. At less than $600, it's one of the best value phones in Australia.

Going big on design and durability, Motorola's mid-ranger does come up short in other areas.
Varied finishes to choose from ; Slim IP68-rated design ; Vibrant 144Hz display ; Charges up quickly
Underwhelming cameras ; Poor video recording ; No expandable storage
Motorola may have found a good match of style, durability, hardware and software, but it did not spend much time refining it. This is how we have what appears to be an unfinished product which is evidently visible upon launching the camera app or when...

This entry-level Moto brings Pantone approved colours. The Edge 50 Fusion also doesn't skimp on hardware, and is very keenly priced
Colourful designs and unique materials ; Huge battery and rapid charging ; Main camera has a very capable sensor
Camera app could be more responsive ; A fair bit of bloatware during initial setup
Good looks, great screen, fast charging and a keen price. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion isn’t perfect, but you get a lot of phone for the money.

Ultra-wide angle shots have inconsistent colours Software is feature-rich but buggy Haptics are barely helpful, also detracting from the premium in-hand feel
We can confidently recommend the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion to those seeking a value-for-money handset. While it struggles with demanding games and its software requires some optimization, the Edge 50 Fusion excels in build quality, cameras, display,...

Stylish design and comfortable to hold ; 68 W fast charging ; Clean, bloatware-free UI ; Decent primary camera
