OnePlus 6T review: With a steeper price, the abandonment of the headphone jack and the rear fingerprint sensor, is the OnePlus 6T really a step forward?

New fingerprint sensor feels cutting-edge ; Up-to-date, versatile OS ; Fast Charge is still great ; Sleek, premium design ; Great performance ; Great battery life

Camera's Nightscape mode needs work ; Another headphone jack bites the dust ; Fingerprint sensor needs refinement ; Poor audio capabilities

The OnePlus 6T brings new technology and worthwhile improvements to the table making this the best phone from OnePlus yet.

OnePlus 6T review: a technically impressive, if iterative update of one of 2018's fastest phones

Read T3's official OnePlus 6T review now to see if it's an upgrade worthy of your attention now

Very fast ; On trend in-screen fingerprint reader ; Optic AMOLED screen is big and has a small notch ; Android 9.0 Pie out of the box ; Comprehensive in-box package of accessories

Battery capacity remains good not great ; Camera system has not moved on much from the OnePlus 6 ; Still no wireless charging functionality ; Water resistant, but not IP67/68 certified

OnePlus 6T review: Stellar performance without the cost

Speedy performance ; Fast charging battery ; Feels great in hand ; Battery comfortably lasts a day ; Runs Android Pie out of the box

Low light camera results not always great ; Design could be more exciting ; Getting more pricey ; Front camera isn't very good

If you have a OnePlus 6 there isn't a huge change, but from every other previous model, this is going to feel like a massive leap forward. Because - despite its more premium price point - OnePlus is still knocking it out of the park. The question...

OnePlus 6T review

An already great phone gets a few welcome upgrades

The fastest in-screen fingerprint scanner yet ; Has all the main bits a top-end phone needs ; Great price point

No headphone jack ; Mostly similar to the OnePlus 6

It may be a tweak of the last model, but this is the best way to avoid spending £800 or more on a phone

OnePlus 6T review

Yet another jump up for OnePlus

Top-end design ; Truly all-day battery life ; Powerful rear camera

No 3.5mm headphone jack ; No wireless charging ; Not a QHD display

The OnePlus 6T is the most accomplished phone we’ve ever seen from the company, and a bunch of new features, including an in-screen fingerprint scanner and a larger battery, add up to make this one of the best phones you can buy right now.

OnePlus 6T review: Getting better all the time

The OnePlus 6T is a great experience refined – and it's available now

Unbeatable performance ; Competitively priced ; In-screen fingerprint reader works well

The 3.5mm headphone jack is no more ; Other cheaper phones on the horizon

No big surprises here then: the OnePlus 6T is another fine phone from the company and is sure to take a deserved spot in our best smartphones list until it’s inevitably replaced by the OnePlus 7 in 2019. As usual, it offers 99% of what its more...

OnePlus 6T review: A hero phone without the sky-high price

Featuring a novel in-screen fingerprint reader, the OnePlus 6T is neck-and-neck with other marquee phones that are way more expensive.

The OnePlus 6T offers top-notch hardware including a lightning-speed processor and an excellent camera for hundreds of dollars less than its competitors. For US customers, it works on Verizon's network.

The phone doesn't have a headphone jack or a water-resistant design. Its in-screen fingerprint reader should work a tad faster.

The OnePlus 6T is the most affordable, top-notch Android you can get. But if you already have the 6, don't feel the need to update.

OnePlus 6T

The OnePlus 6T adds a few new features and design changes to keep its six-monthly release schedule. While it's nothing ground-breaking in a year of amazing phones, it's still a great buy. Here's our full review.
