With first-person shooter friendly features and a frankly ridiculous set of technical specs, read our Alienware AW3423DWF review
Incredible QD OLED image quality ; Specs that bring the best out of your gaming ; Lots of customisation options
Expensive, but you get what you pay for
The Alienware AW3423DWF not only changes the game with impeccable image quality, but it’s player-friendly features will help you win it too

OLED panels have been common place in the TV market for years, but it is only recently we have start
Near-instant response times.
Lack of HDMI 2.1.
The Alienware AW3423DW is a next-level display with numerous advantages over LCD panels. It has a few quirks, but for the PC enthusiast I think this is the best gaming monitor on the market right now.

This widescreen 1440p gaming monitor shows off the new panel technology by making your games look great.
Great gaming performance and quality ; Excellent color and tonal accuracy, notably in the dark shadow areas ; Nice set of controls ; Three-year warranty against burn-in
Radiates some heat through the screen ; Annoying connector arrangement and cable management

The Alienware 34 QD-OLED is a fine start for this new panel technology, and it shows that with just a few more refinements to its configuration settings and performance peaks, QD-OLED could be the only display type we're playing on five years from now.

The Dell Alienware AW3423DW is the first QD-OLED monitor. QD-OLED is a new technology that aims to combine the strengths of OLED and quantum dot displays to prod...
Perfect black levels in dark rooms. 34 inch screen with 21:9 aspect ratio. No blooming around bright objects. Displays a wide range of colors in SDR and HDR. Wide viewing angles. Low input lag with high-frame-rate games. Incredible motion handling....
Light sources lower the picture quality and contrast. Can't downscale a 4k image. Input lag increases with 60 fps signals. Limited compatibility with consoles. Color fringing around windows. Aggressive ABL makes larger areas dim in HDR.
The Dell AW3423DW is excellent overall. It's excellent for gaming because it has a high refresh rate with variable refresh rate support, a near-instantaneous response time, and low input lag. It's also fantastic for dark room gaming or for watching...

Alienware AW3423DW is the first gaming monitor with QD-OLED. What could be better than perfect black level? Surprisingly, quite a lot.
Perfect black level and great contrast! Wide color space and neutral colors right out of the box. Ultrawide extends your field of view in games where it's supported. A refresh rate of 175 Hz provides a quick and responsive experience in fast paced...
Triangular subpixels results in color artefacts and a visible grid pattern (screen-door effect). This panel technology requires a higher resolution to avoid this. The display is also a bit small.
On paper, the Alienware AW3423DW is a splendid choice. Perfect black level with QD-OLED, a great viewing angle and an almost perfectly balanced color space. It has all the specifications of a professional monitor. On paper.

There are few gaming monitors that can match the Alienware AW3423DW QD-OLED.

The Dell Alienware AW3423DW is a 34 3440x1440 OLED gaming monitor with a 175 Hz max refresh rate. It's easily the best HDR gaming monitor you can buy right now, but it's not perfect for everything.
