Wired mouse gets to the point
Smooth design ; 1,600dpi native sensor-resolution
Hardly a revolution in mice
A standard wired mouse affair and a solid one at that

Logitech mice are becoming the epitome of the 'if it ain't broke'philosophy towards hardware design. This must be the 422nd mouse we'veseen with the same smooth, curved chassis.

When it comes to peripherals, most punters like what they've already got. To persuade the average Joe to part with cash, a mouse needs something special. Fortunately, the MX518 has just that. It's a little expensive but we think its target audience,...
It won't improve your su doku and it's certainly not cheap, but if you are addicted to the kind of games that call for wrists like tree trunks and the reactions of a sprinter (plus the ability to stay up all night eating crisps), the MX518 might just...

Sitting very much towards the budget end of the gaming mice market (having enjoyed a fair few price drops over its lifespan), the 2010 incarnation of Logitech's MX518 optical gaming mouse moves firmly into contention as ...
Not the freshest rodent on the block, but at its new low price it more than worthy of attention.

In the past we've experienced bad mice, and we hated those 'mices' to pieces. There's nothing worse than an uncomfortable, cheap mouse, and considering how much you use this long-tailed peripheral it's worth splashing out a ...
This is a fantastic piece of kit for general Windows use, but particularly for gaming. The design oozes quality, with excellent ergonomics and multiple buttons which are well positioned. With a smooth, precise action and near-perfect size and weight,...

Software is a waste of system resources
The Logitech MX518 is one of the best mice I have ever used. The high resolution and fast response time makes it ideal for almost any gamer. The software is useless for the most part but at least installing the software is optional and won’t affect the...

Is that Norm MacDonald? Anyway, the Logitech MX518 comes with a USB to PS/2 adapter, the CD containing Logitech's SetPoint software, a very easy to follow installation guide, an FCC Compliance notice, and a Logitech ad booklet.
