The DeathAdder V2 is the lightest DeathAdder yet.
Great build quality ; Almost perfectly designed for the palm grip ; Stock mouse feet are slick and smooth ; Soft and supple cable ; Significantly lighter than the DeathAdder Elite
Synapse 3 still needs to be running to access custom profiles and lighting effects ; Not suitable for people with smaller hands ; Shape is not for everyone

Simple mouse, solid performance.
Great performance ; Excellent USB cable ; Easy customization
Textured design can be uncomfortable during long gaming sessions ; Middling side buttons ; Somewhat unwieldy size
Razer updated the DeathAdder V2 with a Focus+ optical sensor that makes it a joy to use, even if it seems larger-than-usual at first. It’s a worthy option for right-handed gamers who don’t need a bunch of whiz-bang features to appreciate a...

Razer's most popular gaming mouse gets a much-needed update, but competitors (including the company's other mice) overshadow it.

The Razer DeathAdder V2 isn't necessarily deserving of such an auspicious name, but optical switches, a super-flexible cable, and three more buttons make this the upgrade the DeathAdder needed.
Finally, DPI buttons ; Supple cable ; Durable optical switches
Still feels less capable than the Basilisk and Mamba ; Optical switches are loud and stiff ; Sensor upgrade is largely meaningless to anyone who owns a modern mouse
Whether or not the DeathAdder V2 deserves such an auspicious name, it’s definitely a decent upgrade by Razer. Once its most celebrated mouse, the DeathAdder has seemed a bit superfluous since the introduction of the Basilisk and Mamba—both right-handed...

Our Razer DeathAdder v2 review takes a look a the recently released and enhanced version of their flagship gaming mouse.
Comfortable, ergonomic design ; Great performance ; Up to 20,000 DPI ; Speedflex Cable is fantastic ; Razer Chroma/Synapse support ; Smooth PTFE feet
Mouse felt a bit small in my hands for palm grip use ; Tad pricey, but worth it

The Razer DeathAdder V2 is built for battle with 7 programmable buttons, a high-end flawless sensor, and optical switches. If you are new to gaming...
Optical switches ; Supple cable
Relatively limited customization

The Razer Deathadder V2 is an improvement over the Elite in almost every way.
Best in-class 20,000 CPI sensor ; Optical click sensors give extra durability ; Comfortable
Buttons on the flimsy side ; Pricier than similar versions
A new sensor, scroll wheel, and wire arguably makes this the best wired mouse available today. But it’s a lot pricier than others that are nearly as good.

The Razer DeathAdder V2 is a perfect example of everything that a gaming mouse should be, even if there's not much new.
. But if the DeathAdder V2 has any deal breakers, I couldn't find them. Here's to another 14 years.
