Cheaper than its competitors, while offering more features ; Soft and supple cable ; Optical mouse switches ; Lightweight design without honeycomb shell ; Good build quality and design improvements over the original Viper

Not for everyone given its small size ; Onboard memory only stores sensitivity settings; Synapse 3 still required to load lighting and macros

No DPI indicator ; Plain looks ; Button layout limits it to first-person shooters

Small and (nearly) ambidextrous, the Viper Mini is for FPS players looking for a lightweight clicker with a subdued gaming aesthetic.

Razer Viper Mini review: At 61 grams, this is one of the lightest gaming mice ever made

The Viper Mini is small, lightweight, and cheap, making it perfect for small-handed folk and as a child's first gaming mouse. Just be wary of the budget sensor.

Unbelievably lightweight ; One of the only mouse options suitable for small hands ; Cheap

New (and relatively untested) budget sensor ; Too narrow for people with average hands ; Not that much lighter than the full-size Viper

I don’t mean to sound dismissive of the Viper Mini. It’s not for kids. That just seems like a side-benefit, accidental or not.

- Would be nice if it had more RGB lighting ; - No side buttons on the right side ; - No rubberized side grips ; - Jittery at high DPI ; - Not great for medium to large hands

The Razer Viper Mini isn't the best gaming mouse but it is still a great choice given its ambidextrous shape and affordability. Unless your hands are small, you may want to consider the original Viper instead.
