Roccat Kova review

Roccat release another gaming mouse, but can it compete against the legendary G9?

Lighting looks good ; DPI adjustment

Can't see which DPI you are running ; Doesn't work with Win 7 ; A bit light ; Uncomfortable after long periods

Not the best mouse in the world by a long way. Get a G9

Roccat Kova review

The Kova's ambidextrous design and button layout set it apart from the competition.

The Roccat Kova is a serviceable mouse that doesn’t stand out or fall flat in any particular category, and that alone would make it a decent option at $50. But the addition of extra buttons on either side of the primary left and right buttons, which...

Roccat Kova

If you're a southpaw, the $50 Roccat Kova is an ambidextrous gaming mouse that packs in comfort and performance for a great value.

Ambidextrous. Comfortable, slim design. Easy Shift[+] mode doubles programmable button functions to 22. Affordable.

Confusing software. Relatively low resolution. Lacks dpi indicator. Limited lighting.

Conclusion If you can get past the software, the Roccat Kova is an ambidextrous mouse that delivers in both comfort, performance, and value, though the last requires you to make sacrifices in terms of maximum dpi, lack of dpi indicator, and fancier...

Roccat Kova Aimo

Roccat's Kova Aimo is a solid, affordable, ambidextrous gaming mouse, not just for lefties and claw players but for anyone who wants to experiment with new grip styles.

Ambidextrous design lets you customize right- and left-handed buttons. "Taillight" RGB and Aimo light system add a novel approach to mouse lighting. Inexpensive.

Sensor offers low maximum DPI compared with high-end mice. Ability to use off-side buttons leads to some weird finger reaches. Aimo adds some aggressive marketing hooks.

Bottom Line: Roccat's Kova Aimo is a solid, affordable, ambidextrous gaming mouse, not just for lefties and claw players but for anyone who wants to experiment with new grip styles.

Roccat Kova[+]

The Kova was fantastic, and the Kova[+] now adds Roccat's great software into the mix. We'd recommend this one for all.

Custom lighting system. Excellent software. EasyShift button gives more flexibility. Ambidextrous.

No indicator on mouse to confirm your current settings.

The Kova was fantastic, and the Kova[+] now adds Roccat's great software into the mix. We’d recommend this one for all.
