Switched from a ball mouse, but can still use on any surface, which was what i was looking for. And cant go wrong with the cheapness of this compared to other standard sized laser mice.
Laser, multiple buttons, works with games! Switching DPI on the fly
Included software seems to be focused mostly on office features, and center wheel/button didnt always function with software installed. Removed it and mouse works great

I'm going to put it through its paces tonight on Halo, so we'll see. If it comes up short, I'll write an additional review.
Lightweight laser mouse. Buttons are crisp and respond well. The three sensitivity settings are easy to use
Rubs a bit on my ring finger

What driver is everyone else using with this mouse?
from what I can use of this mouse it seems nice
This is more a problem with Rosewill than anything, but the mouse did not come with a driver and windows won't install the correct one so the mouse is useless to me
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Put the led showing res mode between thumb and pointing finger to be usefull. Add some weight to the mouse. Redesign the Rubber on left side to be easily cleanable. To be able to Fine Tune the RES would be great
upgraded from IntelliMouse Explorer ver3. The Rosewill feels MUCH more comfy to the hand. Holding is very good. the side buttons are properly placed and the rubber there is helpfull. The skates are of good material - where the Intelli would pick gunk ,...
lacks weight. I'm still struggling to have it work right in FPS gaming on all res modes. And the Led ISN'T SHOWING under the hand naturally, so I guess what mode I'm at. Middle side button is useless for me because the software is lacking very much....

Those that had a question about their ring finger must be using their middle finger to turn the wheel. I use my index finger on the wheel and find this mouse very comfortable.
My first laser mouse. I was floored at it's performance. I was using ancient Logitech wheel mouse with a ball and what a difference. A very smooth, accurate mouse. You won't be disappointed

I've purchased several rosewill products (mice, memory, dvd burners, power supplies)from Newegg in the past and they are always top-notch and a great value for the price
Great price compared to similar products, and doesn't "feel" cheaply made; very smooth operation; nice placement of buttons; I also like the rubberized thumb pad
I agree with a previous user's comments that your third (ring) finger rests a little awkwardly on the mouse
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Rosewill may be considered a generic brand but every componet i have from them work the way it should. Trust me buy this mouse, way cheaper then the rest and it works the same.
Cheap for laser and it actually works like a laser mouse. The easy change of dpi is handy. I dont know about the other guy but it fits my hand fine. Plenty of buttons great for gaming and work
Well i got this and some memory for my build. I installed the memory and my system is now crashed due to bad sticks. Not the mouse's fault but I'm sad ; Newegg get ready for my rma's ; Wish I had found this mouse a year ago

The sensitivity selector switch lights up depending on the mode: 800 DPI - no light 1600 DPI - red light 2000 DPI - green light
Fits my hand well, has 3 buttons operated by the thumb, has button to select sensitivity from 800, 1600, & 2000 DPI
None so far

For an inexpensive laser mouse I can't complain. Most Logitec mice are to big for my hands as well, but they cost an arm and a leg.
Easily adjusts to 3 dpi settings: 800, 1600 & 2000. Looks nice
A little to big for my hand. Awkward feel on the third finger. May be the whole to big for my hand again
