A low-priced wireless gaming mouse that doesn't disappoint
Good gaming performance ; 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.0 options ; Long-lasting battery life
CPI settings can be unreliable ; Much heavier than wired version ; Not rechargeable
The SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless is a compelling option for people seeking a wireless mouse on a budget, but it’s not as much of a standout as the original Rival 3.

SteelSeries are well-known in the PC gaming industry for their high-performance, high-cost devices but they've had a go at something much friendlier on the wallet, the Rival 3, priced at around half ...
+ Staggering value for money + Great gaming performance + Comfortable + Easy to use software + Mechanical mouse buttons + Lightweight
- RGB lighting effects are jumpy/notchy - Not ambidextrous despite being symmetrical in shape
SteelSeries have a reputation to uphold, something they’ve worked incredibly hard to earn over the years, but we’re pleased to announce that they’ve done a sterling job on this Rival 3.

With good performance for just $30, the Rival 3 is a highly recommended budget mouse.
Low price ; Solid performance ; Distinctive RGB lighting
Non-braided USB cables can be frustrating
If you're willing to overlook a less-than-stellar cable, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better entry-level gaming mouse than the SteelSeries Rival 3.

SteelSeries' back-to-basics gaming mouse, the $29.99 Rival 3, is a solid but not irresistible contender.

The SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless isn't the flashiest mouse around, but it gets the job done — when it works.
If you’re looking for the convenience of a wireless mouse without the high price, the SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless is a great option. It’s not flashy, but it’s smooth, sleek and works as intended — most of the time. Despite the comparatively low price...
Consumer review (currys.co.uk)
Mouse feels heavy and of high quality, 5 mouse buttons is the perfect amount and not garish at all. RGB detailing is subtle and, again, doesn’t get in the way.
One-to-one tracking occasionally makes me feel like I’m having to drag my mouse to get movement, can be fixed in Windows mouse sensitivity settings.

Really comfortable feel, long cable and a very good looking design.
