Ever since Apple's mighty iPod hit the shelves, the competition has been running round like scalded cats designing MP3 players that might still be attractive to an ever-hungry music market. Cheaper machines with similar amounts of ...
If you're willing to pay what is a pretty hefty fee, the H320 is one of the finest MP3 players around. The FM radio and direct file transfer options, plus the colour screen, make it very appealing.

Strange to see a company actively using the term "Geeks" but the new revised "Geek Tech" MP3 / Ogg player form iRiver is certainly a feature fest if not a tad on the heavy side.

At $275, the IRiver H320 sits near the high end of the price continuum for 20GB players (the 20GB Apple IPod currently costs $280). Even diehard IPod fans will regard the H320's large, vivid display with jealousy.
The bulky IRiver might have provided louder volume--on an airplane, it wasn't quite loud enough for my decibel-damaged ears. And because the color screen saps battery life (IRiver claims a hefty 16 hours for its player anyway), you must adjust the...

High-capacity jukebox flaunts a beautiful color display.
Reasonable price, great audio, dazzling color display, FM radio, and photo viewing make this device a strong contender among 20GB players.

The iRiver H320 is the follow-up to the company's successful H140 audio player, and it's even more feature-rich than its Editors' Choicewinning predecessor. The first thing you notice is the bright, color screen, then the flat buttons instead of the...
Excellent audio quality. Easy navigation via color screen. Excellent recording capability. Displays photos, text. Doesn't require a driver.
No menu listing by song. Lacks lossless compression codecs. No slide show mode for photos. Low resolution for photos.
The iRiver H320 is a no-compromises player that sounds terrific and records beautifully. With FM and photo viewing, it's a powerful, portable entertainment center.

Packed with useful features, the great-sounding H320 is the audio geek's MP3 player but is held back by confusing controls and poor photo integration.
Excellent audio playback and recording quality ; Vibrant colour interface ; Strong battery life ; Compatible with DRM-protected WMAs and subscription-based services ; Decent FM tuner
Slight learning curve ; Photos load slowly ; No simultaneous photo and music playback ; Confusing controls

iRiver's H320 MP3 player is at least as good as the iPod or any player Archos offers. Built around a superb LCD display, its 20 GB hard drive is both quiet and fast. Features include great sound, a photo viewer and a USB interface for digital cameras...
