The Sansa c150 is small, simple and has a decent colour screen for photo viewing. It takes AAA batteries but is so cheap you won't be letting that bother you

It feels like a toy and you’ll need to buy batteries but it's still cheap and useable

Although this is a small and cheap player, SanDisk has sacrificed advanced customization options to compete at this price.
Colour screen, 2GB storage
Non-standard USB connection, screen too small, lack of customization options

The SanDisk Sansa c150 proves that you get what you pay for.
Very competitively priced. Compatible with subscription services and Audible. Has a custom five-band EQ. Very lightweight. Works with WMP or drag and drop.
FM tuner and Audible playback are glitchy. Menu navigation is sometimes awkward. Controls feel cheap and are unresponsive. Ho-hum battery life. Screen looks terrible. Weak bass. Poor-quality recording features.
You can load the player using Windows Media Player, but there's also a USB setting on the device that lets you use it as a standard USB drive (drag-and-drop) with Macs or PCs. The c150 also works well with subscription services such as Napster To Go,...

SanDisk's stylish Sansa c150 ($149 as of 4/13/06) is distinguished by its compact, rectangular size. It's perfect for someone who wants to carry a selection of songs on the go, but not their entire archive, since the player has a midrange capacity of...
Inexpensive Very good audio quality
Button use is somewhat clunky Photos require conversion with software
Though I loved this unit's ultraportability and flexibility, I have a couple of gripes (bigger ones than the sloppy Media Converter interface). My biggest is that this player requires a proprietary USB cable instead of a standard mini-USB connector....

Button use and menus are a bit clunky on the inexpensive c150. Photos require software conversion. Uses one AAA battery.

Both models in the c100 series look identical, measure 3.1 by 1.4 by 0.9 inches, and weigh 1.6 ounces. Although aimed at the budget crowd, the SanDisk Sansa c100 offers a 1.25-inch-diagonal, 65,000-color screen with support for JPEG photos and album...
The affordable SanDisk Sansa c100 series boasts a simple and effective control interface; a small but handy color LCD that displays photos and album art; extra features such as an FM tuner, voice recording, and photo support; and compatibility with...
The SanDisk Sansa c100 series utilizes a proprietary USB cable and has poor battery life for a AAA unit. It also offers poor voice and FM recordings, and you can hear a tiny click when you start a track.
The SanDisk Sansa c100 series gives you a decent set of features for a decent price, but don't expect great battery life.

SanDisk's Sansa c100 series Just like that, SanDisk is the number-two seller of MP3 players in the United States, thanks in part to its strategy of offering lots of features at a budget price. Some of SanDisk's latest releases at CES include the...

The c150 is SanDisk's latest attempt to bust open the flash-based MP3 player market.
Good list of features. Colour screen. Compact and lightweight. Easy to use.
Only so-so sound quality. Low battery life -- you'll need plenty of AAAs in reserve. FM recording quality poor.
The SanDisk c150 represents good value for a 2GB MP3 player, but lacklustre design and only average sound quality mars its overall appeal.

Owned for one week. Worked great at first but then crashes and db errors everytime I sync. I have reformatted 3 times now.
Low price if it worked
Self corrupts
