Same footprint as Apple's baby, twice the features, far cheaper cost.

Oh no, not another MP3 player you say? To which we reply, correct: this is not just another MP3 player. The very idea that SanDisk, makers of memory cards, would come up with such a device following the frankly laughable effort that was the Sansa c150...
Value, capacity, build quality, battery life, not an iPod
Fiddly navigation wheel, not an iPod
"More" pretty much sums up the Sansa e260: more capacity, more for your money, and even more battery life. Look beyond the Apple logo and the iPod branding, understand that there are only two letters separating cool from fool, and all of a sudden...

Easy to use. Attractive design. Excellent features.
Bigger than a Nano.

iPod? You're kidding right? We wouldn't be seen dead with one…
Enough muscle to slap the smug yet elegant smile right off iPod's face, making it a real contender in the MP3 market.

Another day, another iPod imitator. This time around it's SanDisk doing the honours, serving up a shiny black audio- and video-player complete with 4GB capacity and control wheel. How original.
The Sansa e260 is a good-looking device that promises much and delivers slightly less, with fiddly controls and a slightly confusing interface. This is by no means a disaster, however, and the price and battery life are appealing.

MP3 players designed to cash in on the dominance of Apple's iPod nano are coming in thick and fast.
This Sandisk MP3 player has been designed for PC owners who want the form factor of an Apple nano but would prefer not to get locked into iTunes.

In a landscape full of iPod clones and poorly implemented media players, the 4GB Sansa e260 is a welcome change. With an attractive look, excellent fu...
Attractive design, Easy to use, Wide array of functions and file supports, WMA DRM support, Drag and Drop music files
Stiff navigation wheel, No Divx or Xvid support
The Sansa e260 is a feature packed media player that looks great, is feature rich and performs well.

A couple of years ago this would have sounded crazy, but SanDisk, which is probably best known for flash drives and memory cards, just put out one of the best MP3 players on the market. Yeah, I know, I'm just as surprised as you are, but after...

The Sansa e260R dials you in to Rhapsody's all-you-can-eat music service.
Rhapsody integration Card slot for extra memory
Controls are uncomfortable to use, Disappointing audio quality
Offers slick Rhapsody online music store integration, but ease of use needs improvement, and sound quality is lackluster.
