A printer that stays quiet even during printing...
Great Specification ; Good Looking ; Well Made ; Excellent Prints ; Quiet
Miserly RAM Configuration
The way the HP performs, and its specification and design really justify the price

HP's Color LaserJet 2605dtn is an inexpensive colour laser printer with a few features not generally found in budget printers.
Built-in automatic duplexing, generous paper capacity, PostScript 3 emulation, network-ready, four camera card slots
Middling print speeds, photographic prints had some minor flaws
While the HP 2605dtn may not be the fastest colour laser printer, its print quality, expanded paper handling options, built-in duplexing capabilities, networking, and low price make for quite a bargain.

I'm in love! She's curvaceous, she's colourful and she's the surprisingly affordable HP Color LaserJet 2605. Forget big and bulky; colour lasers have really moved on in the last couple of years. Even with this reviewer's ...
A very compact colour laser printer that's easy to manage and affordable to both buy and run, giving excellent results whether printing colour photographs or general purpose business documents. Optional duplexer and networking support are also...

HP's latest 2605dtn colour laser printer is slightly tall, which means you don't need a very deep desk to accommodate it, but definitely a sturdy one,...
Easy to install toner cartridges, decent quality
Prints slowly
The 2605dtn prints a little slowly, but the quality is excellent and we like its features. It's also very easy to maintain, so if you're looking for a decent colour laser for the office, this one is well worth checking out.

This full-featured laser makes high-quality color prints, though print speeds are slow.
High-quality color printing, Good paper handling, including duplexer
Slow print speeds, High costs per page

At $700 (as of 10/6/2006), the HP Color LaserJet 2605dtn costs $300 more than the similar-looking 2600n we reviewed in December 2005, but it comes fully loaded with features.
High-quality color printing ; Good paper handling, including duplexer
Slow print speeds ; High costs per page
This fully loaded model has three paper trays and a duplexer, and prints high-quality photos, but print speeds are slow.

HP's Color LaserJet 2605dtn printer is the missing link between all-in-one inkjet photo printers and budget color laser printers and offers the best of both species. Like photo all-in-ones, it has built-in photo card readers and will print photos...
The HP Color LaserJet 2605dtn shows excellent color and monochrome print quality, has a built-in photo card reader and duplexer, and is reasonably priced.
The menu system is difficult to navigate, paper input is limited to 500 sheets, and software could be more small-office friendly.
The HP 2605dtn has some flaws, but it prints color cheaply and well enough for small offices, individuals, and small corporate workgroups.

The HP Color LaserJet 2605dtn emphasizes features and good-looking output over speed.
Impressive output quality. Built-in duplexer. Network connection. Prints directly from memory cards.
Slow. Real slow.

Beautiful double-sided prints, but it takes its time
But in our speed tests, the HP showed its age. It was dead last in our 50-page mono test, taking a hefty 4mins 22secs to finish, and adding colour slowed it further to over five minutes. The good news is that we found double-sided printing added only a...
